@survivalBob - isn't there an appearance modifier option in the frieghter deck control panel? This is where you can buy the materializer and other tech upgrades. Not to mention where you can change the colour.. perhaps thats where you buy construction stuff?

The little lounge deck in the vacuum of space is the most stupid thing I have ever seen and I love it. I need one on my frieghter.

Anyone else notice that the teleporters on the derelict freighters are broken?

I just got the update today and am less than happy. One of my medium refiners is gone and the ability to build them is also gone. The teleporter for the ship is only within the ship. I cannot teleport out to a base or Space station because the teleport station I built is also gone, as is the ability to build it. I don't know it they planned this, but if it's a glitch, how do I fix it?

Please disregard the post below. I was unaware that the teleporter and the refiners are now room I need to unlock with Salvage Frigate Modules. Ok, a bit more interesting and not as unhappy. Bob, love the vids and learning a lot from them.

This is great, way to go Hello Games!!! Glad I felt this coming and held back (a little😬) on detail building… expect THE FREAKING ENTRANCE. I’ll live, update is awesome and it’s nice to still have the legacy rooms for mixing it up. To anyone with very detailed freighters condolences and you are not alone. Lol!
Also I’m I crazy or did we just lose our base teleports for short tele’s?

On PS4 you cannot teleport to your freighter, this has been reported but still nothing.

So I think I figured something out about this update. mind you I don't read patch notes at all. I think some of the big asteroid patches are destroyed planets/moons. I came across one and realized it was too perfectly spherical. Something else that seems to support this is one of the planets I landed on had a giant burn scar on it, as if a massive laser was shot across it spanning from one side of the planet to the other. An extra bit of this would be some of the new effects in space typically around the giant clusters there are occasional storms and explosions. I am just speculating, but Endurance might be more geared towards surviving at all costs, as they may intent to add a feature whereas a giant star destroying planet of sentinals is just going around destroying heavily populated planets.

For some reason all my ship caro spaces got reset to their base model so I'm working on getting them back to full capacity

@SurvivalBob : From what I saw from your clip, it seems as its output depends on the solar system you are in. The text in the extractor interface combined with the chromatic metal output indicate to me that you are in a yellow sun system. Different colour solar systems will likely manufacture other products.

is it just me or am i not the only one who notices the interface looks kinda similar to the one from Destiny?

I’d love to know how many people were watching this a few days after the update dropped and spent most of the video screaming “Look in the freighter upgrade terminal” the one terminal you didn’t check when you were talking about building parts and building outside! 😂😂

They need to ditch the constant asteroids. It’s so fucking annoying and immersion breaking.

Played this a few hours. After a few weather storms and repetitive environments and childish creatures it soon became boring and pointless.
