How to Stop Chrome from Opening on Startup!

blah blah blah you didn't answer my question how do I disable it on a Chromebook from opening immediately when you sign in

how do I do this on a chromebook though? it lags so bad when 3 tabs about school that aren't even important anymore open up

What if chrome doesn't appear on the task manager? The continue while closed in chromes setting also doesn't seem to fix the issue
