Mistake No. 0 would be eating Schnitzel at Figlmüller in the center. Go to Figl´s (same owner) in Grinzing instead and order a Kalbswiener.

Vienna has not the best water. Vienna get their water from the alps. So the good water in Vienna is not from their. But vienna is welcome to have their fair share of good water.

Sundays are to be dedicated to following the Command to worship Holy God and not offend Him with participating in commercial activities.

All Christian countries used to honor that Command by not having business activities on Sundays!

Nearly 2 centuries ago, (in France) it had been revealed by Heaven that if people did not change their ways: i.e. stop the blasphemous language and commerce on Sunday, great World Wars would be punishment specifically for those 2 sins against God.

Given that today there are far more, not fewer, sins by humanity, we do well to prepare 🙏 for greater chastisements...

"What we always recommend to tourists is to make sure you check for restarant discounts" As an Austrian i would not recommend this. Vienna is one of the safest cittis in the world. Explore yourself. You get a better food for lower prices. You have Time to enjoy and talk to locals an other tourists.

Most restaurants are open on sundays. anything else would be stupid.

I only visited Vienna once, traveling with my boyfriend last year, but we instantly fell in love with the city. Didn't take us long to decide that this is a place we want to live in, so we're moving here from Poland in November. 😅 Great video, definitely gonna be a lifesaver once we're here!! 🙏

All of it good advice (living in Vienna for eight years). I will add: spend only one day in seeing the city center. It is a "must do", but there are so many tourists and it is expensive. One day there, then get out of the city center. Also, check out Donau. It´s increadibly big and fast flowing, and has a very rich history. Seeing Donau is a must (just don´t expect any "Blue Danube", it was always green grayish).

Nice but boring

I live my whole life in vienna and I hate this city so much, there is nothing to do in this lame city. Don’t go here its too expensive and there is nothing to been seen here.

Arrived at Vienna airport around 6am. Found my way to the railway station. No staff present to sell me a train ticket to the city. Needed to make a payment at the ticket machine to get a ticket. When I board the train the first OBB staff I see are the ticket inspecters setting up for a fine. Luckily I had worked out how to arm myself with a ticket. Great welcome to your country. Can you still smell sewerage in the city centre right beside the footpath "cafes"?. Figmullers was memorable but they crammed me in on the end of a group table as I was by myself.
