Is this supposed to be irony? Feels like a bad SNL skit. None of this is helpful.
ОтветитьI love your content. Always intertaining and direct!
ОтветитьThanks. I keep thinking of taking up this lifestyle, and I might some day, but your cautions are valid.
ОтветитьI love this couple!
Ответитьliving in an rv is not a flex on anyone living in a home. id rather have a home than have to constantly pay to find parking. not a win and not an improvement on having a house
ОтветитьHow can anyone afford RV life now with the gas prices? Not to mention the instability and prices of RV sites?
ОтветитьSo are such a cute couple.
ОтветитьI could never have pets in a camper van.
ОтветитьOMGOODNESS, you two sound like people who are brand new to camping. May I ask, have you ever camped before now?
ОтветитьMaybe its me but i feel most of these tips are kinda common sensenlol but i do appreciate the honesty and a very good tip on the extreme weather situations that even i have slightly overlooked looking into RV life.
ОтветитьThanks for keeping it real. Needed to before i hop into it full time.
ОтветитьI hear you! It was about 120 degrees inside my 21 ft Toyota RV last summer. Laundry, showers and dishwashing can a real hassle! There’s a lot of great spiffs to full time living/traveling, but, like you said, it’s not all roses!
ОтветитьGetting living advice from TikTok and Facebook and wondering why you've been led astray... who would have thunk it?
ОтветитьLol rookies, I've been doing vanlife, rvlife since 2004. Before you all made it a social media experiment... 34 ft winnebago chieftain in Canada, I've experienced -66c windchill and was cozy in my motorhome.
ОтветитьYou seem like delightful people. I have no interest in van life, but I really enjoyed watching your video. I wish you continued fun and happiness.
ОтветитьYou guys are awesome !
ОтветитьMy family and I were homeless for almost 9 months. We lived in a camper for the first month but then we had to go to a tent (through one of this areas rainiest springs), and was in that into winter.
All I can say is I'm glad we have the know how. 😁
I'd trade my truckbed w/a topper on it for a van or truck camper etc. Something I could stand up in, plus in case of an emergency, I'm screwed. I can't just jump in the front seat and hammer down. I have to climb out to get to the drivers seat (I'm also 63) That said, living in my truck is not a choice but........when I look around and see soooooo many homeless people w/no where to go, I consider myself very blessed
ОтветитьIt’s lonely, it’s hard taking down and putting up. We spent 7 months in an RV. I can’t count how many things broke. Broken pipes in Texas, salt damage in Florida ending up with a blown motor four hundred miles from home, heartbreaking! We are still paying for it even though we no longer own our class A. I want to get out again but not for 7 months and not in a class A. I love camping but it’s really nice to get back home.
ОтветитьI'm retired. I always thought I would give RV living a shot. It's a lot to think about. Thanks, this was great info.
ОтветитьHi, Just found your channel. Thanks for the unvarnished truth! 😊 Happy trails!
Ответитьto be honest unless you tent camp and live on rice and beans you can probably drive and stay in a hotel for about the same money with less risk. Especially if you factor in the cost of the camper into the per night cost.,
ОтветитьReal talk! After 4.5 years full time, every point is right on (except the pooping inside ;))
ОтветитьNot what I call having a life !!!
Ответить❤❤❤❤❤ your video. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ attitudes. Great information. 🙏 Stay safe. God Blessed ya’ll.
ОтветитьWe lived in a 19’ fifth wheel while I was pregnant then for a while after the baby was born. The wet bathroom was the worst, the shower and toilet were all in the same tiny room and everything was perpetually soggy. We moved up to a 35 foot boat after that, a huge improvement but another weird bathroom situation. When we bought a one bed condo with the money we had saved we were thrilled.
ОтветитьHappy traveling Guys, Wishing you all the best. I tried RV life when I retired from the Military. However, realities set in everyone and their grandma was doing the same thing, the availability at nice sites were booked out a year at a time. They would pack people in like sardines, I don't want to live that close to my own family. 🤣The price of gas, then Covid put the final axe in my Rv life.👍😊
ОтветитьI Love you guys! ❤I keep thinking I want to try “Van Life” I’ll watch more of your thoughts & tips 1st!
ОтветитьWhat's better then an RV is a sailboat, where everyday you have beautiful views and can park just about anywhere you like
ОтветитьYou two are so likable! I love your chemistry with each other too.
ОтветитьI'm not sure or why people think Van life is easy, and all 9 of these things, people do talk about. I wouldn't say there lies, but you also can't believe everything you see on social media. You have to experience it for yourself, and most places in the city or even certain camp grounds you cannot park over night, you have to do your research before you even get to the location you're headed. All of these things are really common sense, especially if you're doing the van life.
ОтветитьGreat insight here. Double check when you retire and decide to go mobile. Lots of contingencies to plan for. The natural wonders and freedom you get to explore has got to be amazing.
ОтветитьI have never been in an RV or camper. Not sure why this video was recommended to me, but I loved Every Moment of it!!! You two are so cute and I love all the information you shared. I will definitely be watching more of your awesome videos. Thank you so much!!!! 🤗
Ответить😂🤣😅😆😁
ОтветитьThank you for this video!!!!!! This is what I had been searching for because no one talks about this. I have been thinking of trying vanlife but I am doing my research in order to know if I am going to like it. What kind of problems are going to surface with it and the like. Thank you very much and now you have my interest.
ОтветитьLiving in a van down by the river smoking doobies 😂
ОтветитьI don't think these are lies really. If you have a normal job and living like this or in your car. You're more likly staying in the city, so that means you have access to public amentinites that you can go quickly. A lot of these problems happen when you're traveling or remote. Having access to a gym or shopping centers or areas where you can be out of your car/RV is the best. If I did this, I probably won't go away from the city.
ОтветитьI sleep outside sometimes and it amazes me how nasty people can be to people when they want to sleep in their car. Its crazy
ОтветитьThis is the first video I've seen on your channel, but I already liked it just because of your humorous style.
ОтветитьMy camper cost me 10k , no loo, no running water , no heater , no solar , no fridge . Lol I have low expectations, occasionally I get lucky lol
ОтветитьAbout time someone tells it as it is!
ОтветитьLove your channel. Such positive energy!
ОтветитьI lived in a camper for a while on my reservation loved every minute of it but dear heart Facebook Twitter and Instagram are the last places to go if you want some truth lol
ОтветитьYou guys are for real...I suspected this. reality...everyone who fantasies this
this life should see this...well done you two
God Bless you guys
ОтветитьY'all are too cute. Thx for the tips. We have done a lot of backpacking and car tenting, same problems & joys
So we're looking forward to rhe same experiences but with a comfy bed 😂
Everytime my mind is set, I see another video that raises questions. I hear mixed reviews about cost and frequency of repairs.
ОтветитьVery entertaining video! We have a class A and we have found that 10 days is our limit, just because of the things you talked about here.
Ответитьcats are by far the best animals to take in a rv/van life, they are desert animals originally so they tolerate heat better, they also do not require as much water as other pets (it's also why their pee is so aggressively smelly tho) and they sleep most of the day naturally unlike almost any breed of dog which will need space and running and all that
Ответить
