What is RPA and how does it work?
Robotic process automation is just like instructing a machine to execute mundane, repetitive manual tasks across applications and systems.

What is RPA system and What is RPA used for?
RPA System is a software that helps to automate processes and helps enhance the workforce by interacting with desktop/web applications, databases, and multiple systems to execute repetitive, mundane work on its own.

Is coding required in RPA?
RPA automation does not require the development of code, nor does it require direct access to the code or database of the applications but being said that is not 100% true.
Though multiple RPA tools provide recorder functionality to record and automate the task, in the complex situation, the code needs to be enhanced. Additionally, for automation a process basic coding logic if clear helps speed up your learning curve.

Where all we can implement RPA?
With diverse RPA utilisation, few areas where RPA can easily be implemented is your day to day repetitive task. Apart from this below are few industry wise RPA implantation areas:

As per my experience, whichever RPA tool you choose and get started with is the one you eventually will fall in love with. However, I found Automation Anywhere and UiPath to be very user friendly and easy to get started with.
Also, UiPath is in great demand, so from career opportunity perspective one can chose it to start with.

Is RPA free?
Not all RPA tools are free, especially the industry leading tools. However, they do have their community editions, using which any one can get started with their learning curve. Also, there are many free/open source tools in markets naming TagUI, Robot Framework Foundation, Robocorp, taskt etc.

Is Python used in RPA?
Yes, Python is a scripting language and is often used in industry to automate the processes. One of the major reason is License cost of the leading RPA tools.

Where can I study RPA?
One can study RPA from several online courses available by the RPA tool vendors itself, like Automation Anywhere and UiPath provided its own training material and videos for individuals who wants to get started with. Also, you can refer to several YouTube video's (All thanks to RPA community contributors) helping by sharing their knowledge and experiences.
