It’s one thing to break the pine tar rules, but try to hide the bat. Silly.
ОтветитьHe should have punched Billy Martin. Martin reminded me of another sports personality who was a college basketball coach, Bobby Knight.
ОтветитьGeorge Brett and Marty McSorely should have a beer together and have a good laugh ... :)
ОтветитьMcClellan points to the wrong person in the dugout when calling Brett out. He did not know where Brett was and / or who he was
Ответитьam i mixing up sports memories or does anyone else remember a few months after this incident FedEx doing a commercial re: how they were chosen to ship the bat to AL office?
ОтветитьIt was an illegal bat, the decision should have never been overturned.
ОтветитьWhat a baby
ОтветитьThe pine-tar bat was tall than home plate than something taller than the bat :l
ОтветитьOnly Billy can cause that much Chaos
ОтветитьLet's say if a player reacted the same way Brett did today, what would've been the league's response? 10 game suspension?? Lol...
ОтветитьIt's funny in the re telling they never mentioned Gaylord Perry's heroics in this game
ОтветитьImagine the Yankees complaining about cheating.
ОтветитьSorry but s cosh should not brake to influence a call. That tar has nothing to do with that hit. Take your loss and move along
ОтветитьThe Royals running away with the bat while the Yankees security chases them😂
ОтветитьClassic baseball moment😂
ОтветитьIt's like being fired from a job and the person goes apeshit
ОтветитьI think his "greenies" must have just kicked in.
ОтветитьThe Way George Runs Out of The Dugout is Hysterical To Watch!
ОтветитьI was at that game, I think that day was also bat giveaway day at Yankee stadium 😃😃😃
ОтветитьHow did KC’s skipper not get involved in the conference the umps were having with the Yankees on the field? Dereliction of duty.
ОтветитьYankees were so great in the 70's came home after school to turn on WPIX and get the latest from the zoo.
ОтветитьI can see the yanks haven't changed much with they're tricks
ОтветитьPine Tar is dangerous.
ОтветитьMcClellan didn’t back up one inch.
ОтветитьHe sure wasn't saying the Rosary.
ОтветитьI think from this point forward, every year, on GB's birthday, you should send a bucket of Pine Tar to his home in Hawaii. :))))
ОтветитьClassic..never gets old!
ОтветитьBack when sports felt like sports ...
ОтветитьImagine if a woman freaked out like that
ОтветитьGod doesn't like that kind of temper.
ОтветитьI played grade school baseball against George Brett’s son twice a year and George Brett was one of the coaches. Got to shake his hand twice a year after each game. Kinda cool
ОтветитьGeorge got the last laugh, because the call was later overturned and the Royals ended up winning the game.
Ответитьsecrete the bat 😂 i've never heard that before
ОтветитьGreat Go Yankees 💙
Ответитьthis is one of the weirdest ways to end a ball game in the history of the MLB, while the away team scored a home run taking the lead with the home team only to score one more out, and all they had to do is out the person with a ground ball and throw it to first or second, or catch the ball or strike out the batter, that's the only way the home team could win, they did none of that, it ended with a home run only for the umps to out the batter that scored a home run, and when you add all those ingredients up, this right here all happening at the same time will never be replicated again in the history of Baseball, that's Crazy.
ОтветитьThe royals protests the call and not only won the protest, they also won the game
ОтветитьThe Good old days when the umps weren't all over 80
ОтветитьI think it says a lot about baseball that an incident which ended up taking a month and some court dates to sort out ended up happening between two teams that didn’t even make the post season. True petty kings.
ОтветитьMartin new about it..he waited for the opportune moment
Ответитьlol thought he was finna peel mans cap
ОтветитьGod if baseball wasn’t already stupid enough. Some pointless rule that doesn’t cause any actual benefit 🙄🙄🙄
ОтветитьDon Mattingly wearing #46.
ОтветитьI have never seen anyone want to hug an empire so badly.
