The EV6 GT looks more like a car than an SUV, the ride height alone makes it closer to a car.

Strange it was holding back, maybe the auto box isn’t great… why he wasn’t using the paddles to get the right gear coming out of the bend, surely then there’s no delay and the time would be hugely faster!

Feels like a bit of bias or something going on here to not give the Alfa a proper go.

Why compare a suv to a sedan? From my experience with the regular Giulia, the brakes a fine once you have got used to them.

For someone who knows how to drive like Jason unquestionably does, Jason might need new glasses. You need to set the Manettino to Race, it is a simple twist. The behaviour of the car as you describe it , IS NOT an Stelvio quadrioglio is RACE mode. i've owned two of them.
But i guess you are on as long as we dont see the pollution bandwagon it is ok these days.

What is the world coming to when a petrol head thinks the Kia electric SUV is better! I really don’t think he was giving the QV the beans, if he was it certainly wasn’t showing it. My 2021 Stelvio QV never looks or feels that boring. I’d buy the Kia and use it as a coffin - not for me thanks.

He doesn’t know what he’s talking about as it’s possible to break the Stelvio QV loose on a slight damp road even in N (normal) mode. It at no point will ever cut power, and always tries to slam you into the seat in R (race) mode.

Alfa not best build quality, but still the best car here milk floats are dying.

Nearly a third cheaper, faster, drives better, will save you a fortune in fuel.

What a bag of rubbish! Kia is a great & fast car, but there is no chance it can beat Alfa on the bendy race track. Stelvio is pretty much the fastest and most agile SUV in it's class. He complained about alfa handling and the same time complemented handling of Kia which is a heavy lump. It is pretty annoying they try to sell you stuff in every possible way, even though it is not all that great for daily commuting and you don't want it.

Right! Well someone got rewarded handsomely to try and boost EV sales. No doubt the Kia is a great car but the statements on the QV are just scripted. When has anyone seen a QV review where the interior is praised but the brakes are rubbish the handling unpredictable and it's a "disappointing big luxury bus" !! I thought Plato was better than that but when EV sales are in the toilet and Kia needs a paid puff piece everyone has their price.

Watch the 5th gear Jag F pace R v Stelvio QV track test and Plato's comments are the opposite!!

Alfa Romeo is one of those brands people buy just to tell people they drive an Alfa Romeo. Same people who buy BMW's.

This is a terrible review. The Kia may well be a decent vehicle, but the Stelvio QV has won plaudits from the worldwide motoring press for its handling and performance, and previously from 5th Gear too!! Plato is not driving in the sports mode as can be seen from the instrument panel, and more disturbingly his biased review is obviously given with an EV agenda attached. Gone are the days of proper objective journalism it seems. There is an agenda here, and once again the policy makers are pushing programme makers to try to push the car buying public down the EV rabbit hole, which by the way is failing miserably looking at new vehicle registration figures. You should be ashamed 5th Gear
