Love your channel and everything you guys share with us, good or not-so-good (like the "Death Valley durability test you performed with the Arrows Marlin back in the day, which spurred me to make that plane my first EDF) Keep bringing us this great content and commentary!

I had messaged you few months back and was complimenting you on how much you have progressed flying RC Airplanes but I think that no one ever gives you credit because you also can fly Drones and Helis and not only is your "Air-Game" really AWESOME....You also are a really good driver with RC's....buggies,truggies,crawlerz,basherz,monster trucks and HELL I watched you riding a wheelie on a dirt bike with Barbie on the back holding on for dear life LoL! noooooo! RC motion F4 8s straight and level 126 mph, I have both, the eflite f16 and motions' F4 , the f16 is quite the edf, but surely not the fastest

To all the haters, please use your common sense... Nate is a very stressed out dad and obviously he would never have time to build something to break record speeds so obviously he means "fastest jet" from HIS perspective...

I'm saying this because I can relate myself.... Very hard to split yourself between family life and trying to work on something that goes 400mph++

Thats nowhere near the fastest. Ive seen better without a dive. I mean thats not even the in the top 50 EDF speeds

Spektrum lipos have been great so far, but the only complaint I have has been their extremely "optimistic" C rating. That's a 6s 4000, and shouldn't have gotten that warm that quickly with a stock 80mm fan. My "100C" 5000mah packs get very hot with loads that don't overheat my 160A ESC, so that's not even 52C. That said, my 4s 5000 packs have successfully jump started a Chevy 350 in the dead of winter, so 🤷

Actually, I'm surprised it's not faster and that that's the fastest you've tested, especially out of a steep dive. Aren't the eflite V900 & V1200 faster than that?

Watching this only now but great video. Can't help read other people's comments and can only assume they are new to your channel for making such mean comments. You guys seem like the nicest people and nothing clickbait at all about your title which is totally relevant to you guys. If you push the EDF faster then what it's designed to do would it make the engine torque out, either engine or battery or both die??? Or is there a limit that really sets the maximum speed even when speeding full throttle from a climb?

Not being a hater... but I don't know how thats the fastest... 70mm is the fastest edf class, or so I think. I've gone over 215 kph on the Viper 70. I believe the bigger 80's and 90's tend to have a bigger airframe, which seems always to slow them down. anddd, The title is clickbait I'd say.
