I feel that if these games were not in the IP that people fell in love with back in the gritty 2000s ages, people would love them. Sadly a company that refuses to move on to another new IP cant help but try and re invent stuff for a newer generation.... at least 10 years after it stops being cool.

Lets face it, the fans are crying because ezio or the prince are no longer in it and it stopped looking like it belonged to a muddy era where disturbed and evanesence were cool and nobody was ashamed of liking Nickleback.
