They look like monsters to you?
Ответить3 is by far the weakest of the trio. Very overrated. 1-2 remain the best by a mile
Ответитьidk why plp just seems to have the necessity to create/define symbolisms or analogies for all the creatures when sometimes the actual genius touch is to leave the player to give its own perspective vision for it, so yeah no, not having a symbolism is not bad
ОтветитьHonestly you deserve more subscribers!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI’ve watched a lot of reviews and they’ve neverrr told me that she is the baby from number 1 that’s so fire how they twist and turn the stories from number 1 to 4
ОтветитьIt's weird that the numb body and split worm "have no symbolism" I mean some things are very out in the open, no matter if Ito wants to shed light onto them or not.
Heather has a lot of sexual / reproductive anxieties.
Just like abstract daddy, you don't need ito to come out and say "that's a penis" to be able to believe it.
Sewer theory: the workers were dying. The surviving workers were scared and discussed what they believed was happening to kill off workers. The monster was made manifest from their fears, but did not actually physically exist in the "real world' but only in Silent Hill.
ОтветитьThe only thing missing is what happens when you drop the lead pipe in the water where you kill the sewer tentacle.
ОтветитьDo the room
ОтветитьThey obviously didn’t care much when they were making this they just phoned it in
ОтветитьLol I hate the "Weapons + Monsters = make me feel invicible" Good to know active threats are the only thing that scare you. Silent Hill 3's horror comes entirely from its environment, and it does it far far better than Silent Hill 1 and 3. The amount of monsters is really immaterial in the horror of Silent Hill 3. Of the original 4 I consider 3 the scariest, then 1, then 4, then 2. As they all play on different things. I'm not afraid of myself or my own demons personally, and never have been. Probably why Silent Hill 2 never really struck me as all that scary. Sombre is the word I use for Silent Hill 2. The first one really feels like it's swimming in the source material that made it, and silent hill 4 is conceptually the freakiest one. Imagine actually being in that situation, shame the game has burpnurses.
ОтветитьMy man, you gotta make that soundtrack quieter, it's quite distracting
ОтветитьThis Silent hill sucks, no dog ending
(just a joke, love this game...although the endings could have longer cutscenes, showing more than Douglas s fate)
It is a little disappointing that they had such an incredible psychological horror game that was chock full symbolism to "it is just a monster.."
ОтветитьThe mirror room made me quit for like a month but today i picked it back up and beat the game lol
ОтветитьI started listening 🎧 to the Soundtracks of the games before I even played them.. Just Randomly on Limewire downloading music back in the day and ran across perfection purely by chance.. in Akira Yamaoka's works . The rest is history.. It really calmed me and gave me euphoric chills , while soothing my depression and anxiety when I would listen to these tracks. It would take me to a dark place as well with it's constant grinding of mechanical structures and unique sounds.. And heavy industrial melodies. I was already a fan of NIN . So these sounds and melodic patterns felt familiar.. I never knew the meaning behind each track..
But songs like The Day of Night , White Noiz , Message to Laura , You're not here, and so many more..
.. put my mind at ease.. Not knowing what the song meant or it's purpose during a scene in the games.. Hell I didn't even know which SH title it originated from.. Not Untill much later down the road in my life..
Now I'm just hooked.. and a fan of the series in the present day.. I see now going in blind was the best way ..
An interesting thing about the Slurper, the first time you see it is in the sewer when crossing the bridge in the water. When you cross the bridge again, its gone. You don't encounter it again until you fight it in the Other World later in the game if I'm not mistaken. Mentioning what you said about creatures being in the real world, I like to think Heather/Alessa's powers were so great because she was about to give birth to "God" which was growing inside her, it caused the creatures to be drawn to her from the Other World and sort of phasing into the Real World without her realizing it.
