They have the 32in m7 for 270 and 27in m8 for 280. Trying to decide which one to get... Probably also use it like tv or cast screen in bedroom. I used a 32in curved monitor before and it felt way too big.

I stumbled across this while looking for a new monitor for gaming. I found something else, but this monitor is peeking my interest somehow.

I got a samsung monitor and I want to use the 65W USB C port for display and charging but I have a laptop with 100W charging. When I connected it my laptop warned about the slow charging. I read up its harmful for the PC to charge at a lower wattage, now I'm scared to connect my PC via USB C. Anyone who can help me on this?

So much wiring is reduced and my table is so much cleaned now with this samsung smart monitor everything is wireless ,i connected my phone house gadgets my doorbell and kids device ,house surrounding device all connected so it is really a game changer for a low budget like me.

You can control all your house gadgets if you have connected the device to your Samsung smart monitor.

The knock-off critique is directed towards Samsung copying iMac 24 - not the Studio Display.

Nobody is copying nobody; these products take years of R&D so Apple and Samsung copying from one another between M8 and Studio display is not a thing.

Just saw that Samsung announced the M80C monitor. Hoping you can get your hands on one to review again so we can see if it is worth the upgrade. Thank you for all you do to make my home (and me) better!

I just got this today. Am i the only one struggling to connect my mbp to this??? Im using a 2018 mbp and it doesnt seem to detect my usb c to usb c cable

Poorest quality monitor. I do not know about you, but 700$ is not cheap by any means. 4k is not that expensive anymore, it is not 2015 anymore. I have had it for 3 weeks, already display is broken, by itself. big yellow dead pixels and 2 lines across it. If there is some light in room, you can not see damn thing on it. You CAN NOT control neither volume, neither brightness with your PC(using type-c on Macbook). Camera is good, but fukc this microphone, too silent. Speakers are just bad. for 300$ it would be ok, but for 700 it is just overpriced crap.
It wabbles on a desk by the way too much. Also to assemble this thing when it arrived, I had to force lock to snap in it's place! Very poor quality, VERY!

Unfortunately, Glossy on a Level Infinity! I cannot imagine working all day long writing code and looking at that mirror.
However, so many people love it, and this monitor is great for them! A detachable webcam is clever engineering!

I want to only use M8 camera and close Macbook Pro lid and use the camera on google, teams and Zoom meetings, is it possible?

the camera can tilt down....you just have to extend it upwards first!

Everyone interested in this monitor/tv, look around for deals. I got mine for CAD 549. I don't know how they did that, but glad I paid attention.

Very nice review, a quick question, does you keyboard n mouse still works for your hdmi connection computer?

I know this is an absurd solution to something that should have a small pivot point, but for that head room issue, could you get a cable to connect the camera and monitor and then rig a stand or small tripod of some type to reposition the angle?

Is this better than LG Ultrafine Display Ergo in terms of picture quality/display ? And can we install more apps in the smart TV mode ?
