this scene is so tragic. a kid born into miserable wasteland, cursed to die young, gets the greatest honour of his life - to die in service to his god (a fraud exploiting him). you can tell that being given joe's gun, the chrome spray, even just being in the man's presence is a greater honour than he could ever imagine.
his life is starting to make sense - he was meant to be a hero. and one minute later all that hope is gone, he lost his one chance. so sad.

The interesting thing about Immortan Joe is that he can sometimes convince me that he legitimately cares about his War Boys

I waited 30 years for another one of these movies. I was not disappointed.
