ОтветитьHow should that SAI be "uncaged". By rolling the knob says every tutorial and manual, but how it works. Turn the knob to where, and does it effect to somewhere else in the plane, and if so how. Dont really understand the meaning of rolling that and cage / uncage. How should I set in on startup? OR just roll it "somewhere"? Does it "smell" its zero point automatically?

ОтветитьHi, I have the F18C and I keep having the same issue with rear stabilizers who keep on pointing up hard at 24 degrees as shown on the FCS. This happens at low speed and I cannot get them to go back at an acceptable angle and the plane just keeps on stalling. This happens even if I put the burners on. I tried cycling the flaps from auto to full but this has no effect. Is this a problem you know? I find it very weird and I just cannot understand how this could be a normal feature on real F18 planes.

ОтветитьI keep running into a problem with my nose wheel steering not being available. Every time that I auto start my FA-18, NWS is not available and when I use the key command "a" or "s" to turn it on it does not work. When I manual do a cold start I have NWS available but only about 80% of the time. Is there a bug... or am I just missing something? Thanks for any recommendations.
Ответитьyou put on the ecm to standby .to my knowledge the ecm is still not implemented .is that changed now ?
ОтветитьYou don't need to reset the bleed system since you didn't do a fire test, also you can start the alingment as soon as the first engine's generator comes online
ОтветитьApparently some people (like myself, I discovered today) are experiencing a bug with INS alignment in GND and CV modes where the INS just never aligns. For the time being apparently setting the INS to 'NAV' first is the fix for that, rather than waiting for alignment in 'GND' or 'CV.' I'm not sure what that does to the accuracy of the INS, but it's probably not good. As I understand it, it's been a known bug since earlier this year.
