I take notes to read the book, i don't actually copy the whole book but just write important points. Make points instead of writing the whole paragraph. It help me to memorize well too 🌟 but i am still finding more better ways & resource to study
Well honestly, everyone are different right?
Not taking notes is a bad advice (for some people). If you write things down you will more likely not forget them so easily (like how word are spilling. For example is it 안녕하세요 or 앙녕하세요.)
2.What happened to me now, is that a free resource is now behind paywall. If I would have wrote everything down, I could still learn with it but now I am doomed.
Hello! 👋🏻
Where are you from? How many languages do you speak?
April 9th it will be 1 yr of learning korean and im still a beginner. My goal is to get to elementry level/lower intermediate. Are there tips or advice that could help?
ОтветитьAnyone from nepal mention me !
ОтветитьClassroom: I am listening, looking, speaking, having my brain in that space (and I may make some note to go look at x, y or z later because it's new info or it's something I am weak at).
Self-study/solo study: I am reading, speaking, using apps, using a pen and paper, making connections....a lot.
Just in class my brain can't do both. It's either neat notes that I can use later, or keep up with class. My class notes written notes have to be re-written to actually be understood haha!
Taking notes results in me remembering things. This happens in my daily life as well. If I write something in my journal then I remember that event even years later.
ОтветитьI've been taking notes since im really poot at memorizing and my textbook explanations are just limited, but istg from the bottom of my heart i dont really wanna taking any notes t__t
ОтветитьCan you please dedicate a video on how to stop translating ? I know you can put pictures on ítems to help with that but its not working for me. I hope i can get some tips since youve been studying for years 😊
Thank youuuuu❤
Notes help with spelling and handwriting, help some people retain info (I need to write things down for them to really take root in my mind), help with concise points that I can quickly refer to when I forgot how a grammar point works
ОтветитьLol i took a break from writing notes to watch this and ur points about note taking made me realized i learned and retained more thru just listening to podcasts and just watching yt vids then when id take notes and try to learn from those first. Its got reevalulating how i should study now.
Ответитьtysm for this! I've been trying to self study Korean and I have trust issues with pronunciation, grammar, and resources like that lol.
Ответить나보다 한글을 잘 쓰네요
ОтветитьI also want this korea grammar book 📚💖
Ответитьdoes she have tourette syndrome?
ОтветитьLol, im the TOTAL oppossite, I don't feel I understand until I take notes. I'm a very graphic person, so re-organizing the information in a visual diagram or graph that makes sense to me helps me not only remember but make the correct associations between what I already know and whats new. It's not bad advice, tho
ОтветитьI'm learning Korean and it's been only one and a half month the grammar is so hard I can't understand some things if anyone wanna help me then please I'm on Tenses topic right now and it's so different and difficult...
ОтветитьI am an 18 years old Indian girl and wanna learn Korean so that I can communicate with my friend comfortably...😂 He is from Daejeon...
And yes! This is the only reason for me to learn Korean...
im the type of person that needs to write stuff down to actually memorize it, and there's a lot of people like that so I don't think it makes sense to never take notes ever. however, of course, writing everything down doesn't make sense.
ОтветитьI agree with you about howtostudykorean website. Their grammar explanation is so good than compared to TTMIK. TTMIK is not bad but it shouldn't be your only resource while self-learning Korean because their explanations aren't enough for you to completely grasp everything. Go for more resources! There are lots of YT channels that do the explanation apart from howtostudykorean. Good luck to everyone learning Korean! Let's do this guys! ❤️
ОтветитьI usually just write the grammar point I don't fully grasp and then gather up examples from all my various resources to break down under it. I'm just very visual and I need the notes when I don't get it lol
ОтветитьIf anyone feels overwhelmed using HTSK, start with the lesson on TTMIK and then go to HTSK for the examples! I currently go through TTMIK and then if I’m not solid, I’ll pop over to HTSK and read/note down example sentences I feel are useful for me. Anything you think you won’t use yourself, don’t bother with it! I’m still struggling to get use of the stuff I’m learning but that’ll come with time haha.
ОтветитьI can not agree with the first tip more...
ОтветитьI need to take notes🤣,for real I can not understand anything of I don't write it down
ОтветитьI use talk to me in Korean to get the basic understanding and then I’m going to start using howtostudykorean to know more about it
ОтветитьI had paused on trying to learn but I still wanna teach myself different languages, and because of my learning style I want to start with Korean cause I already listen to the music and watch a lot of Korean entertainment, I’m trying to start when I have the actual motivation to, I plan on learning Japanese and Spanish later hehe
ОтветитьNo one :
Not even a single soul :
Mang plushie on sofa : 👃👁
I'm learning korean just so I can understand Namjoon's meaningful and beautiful lyrics 🤡✌️💜
ОтветитьI take notes bc just like u do, I learn the grammar from a myriad of resources so I like to summarize all of them in one notebook hehe and this makes it easier when I revise the grammar
ОтветитьI wanna get into learning Korean this was soo helpful!!! 💖💖
ОтветитьHey Natalia , what do you think writing a diary in Korean is a good habit for learning korean fast or is it waste of time ??
I hope you will answer , I've been learning Korean from 1 year now.
Whispering : I think it's way more better than ttmik
I agree with you, ttmik explanation is like touch and go,and they give very few examples of conjugations
Thanks for your website tho😂
(Btw look at my profile picture, you'll know what it is)
I learned hangul (reading&writing) at only 1 day in reading and 1 day in writing, but when it comes to grammar and sentence, bruh😆
Writing 👍
Speaking/Pronunciation 👎
Wait, is that pink slime a Poring from Ragnarok Online, or is it only me? owo
ОтветитьI'm glad that you mentioned "HowtoStudyKorean". I haven't found any reviews online and it's what I have been using. AND THEY HAVE CORRESPONDING YT VIDEOS!!!! It's great!!!!
ОтветитьBecause it changed my language learning life, I think anyone learning a language should know about the idea of language acquisition. It was introduced by Steve Kaufman a couple decades ago. Him and his colleagues found that their students learned best when they understood the message, not necessarily the words or grammar, of what was being said in the language they were learning. I can't explain the whole concept here, but basically, acquiring a language (versus learning one) puts very little emphasis on studying grammar or flashcards. The idea is that you learn from context as you interact with media (books, articles, movies, etc) or people in your target language.
ОтветитьI’m just gonna speak Chinese with them until I can speak and understand Korean fluently lol
ОтветитьI decided to start learning Korean again coz y not
ОтветитьNot about Korean but your hair has been looking so nice lately!!!! I need your secrets lol 😂
ОтветитьI just wanted to add the list the website Langcorrect it’s a website where native speakers correct your writing. I use it for Korean but it’s useful for other languages too
ОтветитьHope hyunwoo dont watch this video😀
Ответитьin defense of note taking, i think it can be helpful to have your information in one place when you’re pulling things from several different sources. at least for me, if i’m using multiple websites and videos, i like taking notes for the sake of taking all the best parts of those sources and having one succinct place to find it, instead of having to go back through all of them.
ОтветитьI listen to songs and podcasts while studying Korean.. 😅😅🔥I'm new in your channel too..Keep it up.. \( ö )/

for me personally, writing notes help me grasp the information. most of the time, I will read something and not obtain anything from it. however, when I actually read through it and re-write it, I find myself remembering the information better. I don't write everything word-for-word, but I basically create my own notes for better understanding.
ОтветитьI only take notes because I feel that when I write something down it sticks in my head better than if I just read it.
ОтветитьHer room though 😍
Ответить잘 보았습니다.
