Don't buy a Mercedes without watching this video & see the whole story. I learned that these "amazing" cars can be more expensive than you could possibly imagine. Save yourself losing thousands of dollars by knowing what you are getting into BEFORE even thinking about buying a MERCEDES BENZ.

I am my seventh Mercedes-Benz all were leased and we decided to keep two of them a 2013 E350 and a 2020 GLE450. Aside from the yearly maintenance my ten year old E350 I have only replaced the tires twice, and the brakes no more no less. I guess I have gotten lucky seven times and I plan getting lucky as long as I live. Viva Mercedes-Benz, the best or nothing.

Wrong review. Even in vw or any other brand cars.. You will have some beeps from sensors during heavy snow getting stuck to your car. You don't know the real quality of a company if you just look for economics. Seems you have something against the MB..

Had a 2023 GLE 350 for 11 months and couldn't wait to get rid of this POS. Only had 6000 miles on it and the 4cyl turbo couldn't get out of its own way. Lost 20% resale value but was worth it and went back to a Porsche Cayenne, the best car I ever owned. A lesson learned. Never again,

Most issues you experienced were simply user errors.
I had no trouble at all getting my kids in the back. Maybe if the kids are obese, then I understand the struggle/issues, but you can't blame the car for that.
Also, the sensors act like they when they are dirty/obstructed... clean your car. It can't clean and maintain itself.
Same for the squeaking...
If those lights bother you while driving, then either dim them or turn them off completely.

About the wheel...
So you prefer that it would be a regular tool to take off the wheel?
Do you have any idea how often wheels get stolen from vehicles?
Mercedes saves countless customers from potentially losing tires with that.
Be grateful...

Oh, and car value...
Every brand-new car losing half it's value when it is used.
I see that with every brand, no matter if you had it for years or just a few months.

Parts are expensive, but the car is too. If you can afford the car, then you shouldn't be complaining about the spare parts.
People should not buy luxury cars if they have to save up to buy one.
It means that you have no money for maintenance.
Plus, you don't change rain wipers as told on the package.
You change them when they stop doing their job.
It really feels as if you try to think so many things to create content when there is absolutely no issues with these cars.
After 6 years I had to repair stuff and it was only 2000 euro's.
I rather prefer a good car that doesn't break often with expensive parts than a car that often breaks with cheap parts.
In the end, the price for maintaining will be the same.

I stopped watching after the spare parts, since everything mention is just user error.

All cars these days have annoying driver aids. I got into engineering menu of the car and permanently disabled all those lane change assist for retards options. Squeaks are unacceptable but reminding us of 60K MSRP sounds like a bad joke in 2023.

I’ve owned a 99 clk 320, a 2002 clk430, a 2007 CLS550 and now a classic 2009 CL550 coupe. They’ve all treated me very well. I love the brand and also know how to work on them myself for a lot of things. My CL is a head turner till this day and I rarely pass one on the road. It was my daily driver for 2 years straight and never gives me any problems. I have a second vehicle now to keep my miles down on my CL. Currently at 112k miles and still in immaculate condition and drivers like the year it came out. I always tell people if you can’t afford to maintain a high end luxury vehicle then don’t buy one. But if you can then they’re a pleasure to drive

My 2019 C class made in Germany has after 30k miles, had the Nox sensors replaced, and this is the 2nd time. Nox sensors being very expensive at £1300 a pop.
So many sensors are breaking Mercedes are reconditioning them and charging new prices?
My theory is Mercedes are making their customers pay for all the money they’ve had to pay out recently…. And still gotta pay out a lot more. I’ve had lots of Mercedes’ cars but this is the last one.

I had a Mercedes S550 and a GLE450.. beautiful cars. The GLE450 is amazing on gas and passengers always say how smooth the ride is. I also have no issues with glare from the ambient lighting... it can be dimmed or turned off. I have no rear rattle noises either. Service is expensive? LOL Try owning a Jaguar XJ and having to pay like $800 Canadian on a oil change on their weak 3.0 V6 engine. At least the Mercedes (and BMW's) oil changes are covered under warranty, unlike the Jags.

I can down talk any vehicle. I use common sense however and know what will work and won't work. The last 25 years I was working all I drove were MB. Mostly E class and they always served me very well. I took them to the dealer once a year and got all the recommended maintenance and never had any worries. I retired and bought a GLE 63S with some miles on it and loved it. However wanted to move to a Tesla. After two years of ownership I sold it to Vroom for $2000 less than I paid for it. The stuff this guy picked apart is the same thing you'll find on all cars with these options and tech. They all do the same things!

We had 23 of them, only two of them gave trouble, and then well over 150k miles. Very cheap to maintain, and almost boringly reliable. My Nissan was expensive to maintain and the Toyota longevity just a fairy tale. Gimme a Benz any day, especially a Diesel. One of mine was at half its expected life at 768,000 on the odo, no mechanical work done.

Luxury cars are not for everybody. I purchased a used Mercedes knowing I had to get many parts replaced. Tires, battery, thermostat, air intake hose, all filters, transmission oil and engine oil, serpentine belt, axle oil, brake pads and rotors, coolant and filter, sparkplugs. And my sunroof just broke.😢. The older the car gets the more parts you have to replace and keep up with maintenance. Young kids with no money stay away from luxury cars..expensive to maintain.
