Those are some highly intelligent, well adjusted children with solid life experience under their belt. Just want to give a shout out to mom and dad for raising these kids RIGHT and shout out to these kids, I hope you are proud of yourself and I know you will make it far in life

I skipped some of the video and landed right when you buy the brush cutter and Im so happy for you hahahaha! A must on every homestead. I dont know if you end up buying a small stump grinder but they are awesome too and they are pretty affordable.

You probably already know but when your chain sawing a tree at the base you gotta really be careful to not hit any dirt. That instantly dulls the teeth. Being a little more careful keeps you from having to sharpen constantly.

Milk needs to be cool before you put in the refrigarator. So the glass don't crack and leak.

Whenever you're going inside the woods. Always bring a knife or machete you might need in case bro. And don't let your children go inside a cave or what. What if there a snake 🐍 inside. Always think for yourself and family safety 😊
God bless bro 🙏🏻 I do always watching your videos 🥰

Put a floor mat from a car over the chain when pulling something with a chain under high tension. Especially over weaker spots like a clip. It'll dampen the force and prevent people getting hit in the face with a fast movie chain when it breaks.

Nesbole? ❤️❤️❤️ This fruit (if it is the fruit called nesbole in Italy.😂) I didn't know you could grow it in a pot. Maybe that would be possible here in Sweden too? Wow. I need to look in to this immediately! When I lived in italy we had a tree in our garden but here noone knows what I'm talking about when I say I miss it. But now, thanks to you I have the english name. Oh this is so nice🤤

You had one goal of specific things you wanted to complete within a specific timeframe. However at the end of your allotted time certain things didn’t get checked off your list. But many did. Going from siting for a new home is time consuming then ultimately deciding to remodel instead is a huge pivot. So many successes did take place. I agree the water was really a big score, especially as a future time saver doing chores. Access to roads is so key when making your way around and clearing a piece of land. But what stood out to me was the family working together and your strong desire to create memories and legacy on your family’s land. And you taught your children that the best laid plans many times will change. When we start projects or paths life happens, new ideas form as we learn more, priorities change, opportunities arise. Many things can affect the need to change direction. So regrouping causes us to pivot and adapt to those changes. I saw you and Rebecca teach your children one of life’s very important, but underrated, lesson of adaptability. They already had a good start, living on a farm. This will take them far in life. It’s so great to see you incorporate all the kids, not just the older boys, in different aspects of the project. Secretly,😉one of my favorites was to see Lily 🌸spring into action with the sawsall. Even Mr. Brown checking the water flow with you was so good as the problem got solved and making suggestions. The kids are thinking always how to fix, change, think outside the box and adapt because they know their ideas will always be heard and considered which is so important to them whether or not they were used. Those are huge memories and life lessons they will always have and cherish. I’m looking forward to watching the farm build progress and your remodel comes to life.
I really enjoyed watching this.
From CA🏖️take care.

Those clamps, pex clamps, are crazy expensive, one of the most expensive clamps I've ever purchased! A hundred bucks for one clamp to put on metal brackets is absolutely crazy expensive!!! I'm sure you can understand since you also purchased a pex clamp!

Propane heater... uhm.... you have a boiler. Why not install accumulator tanks? Then you can use the full capacity of the boiler and store the heat until later. You could dock it to a solar tank, and install solar heated hot water panels. That should give about the same consumption of firewood but far more heating - including hot tap water. We have all sorts of systems here in rural Sweden, and it usually works just great. A passive solar house is a VERY tricky build, believe me. If you don't do it really right all the way, with all the cost, you'll end up with a decently energy efficient house to the cost of a extremely energy efficient house. You don't want that, I assure you. But to use cheap technology, make the house good enough and the heating system you have as efficient as possible, that makes perfect economical sense. Remember that just to have a damper halfways up the chimney (well, almost) which makes it possible to slow down the fire with fully open air intakes, you'll get VERY efficient burn. It leaves almost no soot in the chimney. You want that blueish flame, burning extremely clean...

A chainsaw for birthday present. Yeah, I can understand. I wanted - and got - a roto cultivator when I finished ninth grade. Grandpa was rather surprised, but pleasantly surprised. He paid happily.
