What another good ending would be:

furnace flies into sonic but just misses his eye and hits his leg.
Sonic is put under extreme stress and then something happenes…

“YOU REALLY THOUGHT THAT WOULD KILL ME????!!??!” Fleetway super sonic appears on the scene and healed up sonics body before quickly flying into furnace head first effectively killing furnace before flying to the end of the race but a horrific sight meets our hedgehog at the end of the race. A certain pink hedgehog has been cooked…….

Ok i noiced a lot of people saying this isn't a good ending or being confused so let me explain this to put it simple sonic died in the future then sonic (the past self)used the time stones to travel in the future and now truly end starved for good is why the confrontation happens in the end and why you see sonic corpse but with him still singing so yes this is a good ending this time sonic ain't messing around and he knows whats going to happen to him if he does anyways yeah time paradox

Before learning a lot of other lore about Good Ending specifically, I had this theory about WHY Sonic may have still died and kind of why Fight Or Flight is named as such.

My theory went like this: Sonic in Prey was trying to run from Furnace and Starved and never tried to fight back, even after becoming Super Sonic. Sonic kept trying to outrun both of them which only lead to him being killed amd eaten by the Starved. Fight or Flight does end in Tails killing Starved due to Tails being able to be brave against the Starved and attacked him. Tails' FEAR meter eventually filling and Tails dying could've represented Tails eventually letting fear over take him and try to run from the situation, only to be killed by Furnace.

Looks like sonic had a bad future

But hold up the map there running on is bad future from sonic cd I'm pretty sure super sonic wasn't in sonic cd I believe sonic cd takes place in between sonic 1 and 2

An interesting idea, but not canon to Starveds universe and story either. So I guess this classifies as an AU of sorts.
