UPDATE:
Numworks has somehow managed to improve the calculator immensely in the few short months since this review has been released!
-An equation solver has been added (and it is far and away better than anything the TI-84 Plus CE can do, giving multiple solutions, solving systems of equations, and more)
-The keyboard has been made easier to use, with symbols (such as square roots and fractions) appearing as they do on the TI-84 Plus CE calculator
-Python programs can now be transferred between computers and calculators.
-Syntax highlighting and line numbers have been added to the Python editor
-The statistics program has been improved, although some work is still needed until it is sufficient for AP Statistics and other such classes.
I am amazed by the fact that all of these improvements have been made so quickly. Definitely consider this calculator if you are looking to buy a new one. It is incredibly powerful now, and at this rate, will become the uncontested best calculator in the world.
No TI84 is a lot better
ОтветитьDoes it have sigma(Σ)?
ОтветитьTI Made a TI 84 killer all the way back in 1992... it was called the TI-85
Ответитьbut can it run doom?
ОтветитьAlthough it is true that python is a much more advanced language than ti-basic, I think that programming with limitations and slower hardware can be more enjoyable at times (for me at least). Limitations force you to think outside the box, and especially with older hardware, learn to program more efficiently.
This might just stem from my love of older technology though. Good showcase!
it's stylish and it's have Python. That's all of good things. Everything else is bad. HP Prime is better
ОтветитьBut can it play doom?
Ответить“But can it run Doom?”
ОтветитьNumwirks just shut down open source
Ответитьso can i game on this
Ответитьif it can do variables that means you cant use it on tests like the SAT
ОтветитьAfter using this, I actually preferred using this over the ti84. I like this layout more and it’s syntax works just like how’d I expect. I can even math faster
Ответитьi dont care if its better than a ti 84 plus im not spending $99 on a calculator
ОтветитьHey, are you able to tell me if the numworks graphing calculator can do complex matrices? This is my pain selling point. I am an electrical engineering student looking at calculators to purchase. If you could also give me a recommendation I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Ответитьnice, but I’d prefer my HP Prime G2
Ответитьme who just ordered a ti84 😳
Ответитьcan i play tetris on this?
Ответитьbut can it run crysis🤔
it can run Doom tho😂
but
can it run doom?
Just get casio :residentsleeper:
ОтветитьMy CE can run python too, also the TI is much more durable and has a better battery life, and overall has plenty more features. The speed is a well worth it trade-off, cause it's not like anyone's not patient enough to wait a few seconds for a graph to merit the need for a whole new calculator and learning curve. I'm sticking with the TI
ОтветитьHi, I want to ask a question . Some time ago, my bf told me that he would like a graphing calculator . He’s topologist and was very excited about some calculators that can work with Python. Which one should I get him? I don’t care about the price , I really need help, cause I have no idea and I’m searching already for hours! From my little research , I found Casio graph90 (and fxcg50, which I read it’s the same , but the graph is faster), HP Prime, TI cx II-T cas the best among others. Which one should I get ? Thanks!
Ответить99 dollars yet a ti calculator is like 198 dollars
ОтветитьSo nspire Cx ii CAS or this?
ОтветитьI've never had or needed a graphing calculator, i now want this one mostly cause of the python feature
EDIT: it's also opensource, i want it!
Nice tank lol
ОтветитьBut can it run oiram?
ОтветитьCan it run doom tho?
Ответитьcool
Ответитьarmv7 vs z80e
haha
Can you play gameson it like the other calculator and is there a game boy emulator
Ответитьbut can it run game?
ОтветитьWe just use Desmos or Geogebra at my school, on the laptops our school let's us borrow. Desmos and Geogebra both have mobile apps, too, so you really don't need a calculator.
ОтветитьI feel the Numworks is more comparable to the TI-nspire CX II CAS, especially since its getting Python later this year.
ОтветитьTry to get Hewlett Packard prime graphing calculator
ОтветитьThe best thing is that it's open source. If I wanna add a feature, I just fork Epsilon (the firmware) real quick and I can do it.
ОтветитьCan you put games on it like the ti-84
ОтветитьIf you can do python programming I don't see the lack of advanced statistical functions as a problem
ОтветитьWhat battery does the numworks calculator take? I like to bring extra battery with me in case the calculator run out of power.
ОтветитьI hate the pure white. I want this in black.
ОтветитьI am very disappointed in the product, the memory is not 6 mb as the technical specifications say it is less than 20kb that really does not serve anything significant, as for the software it is really poor and limited, there are calculators from ten years ago with better software.
ОтветитьOur school requires us to have the Ti-84, Ti-84 plus, or Ti-84 plus ce
ОтветитьNot gonna lie, I don't like it being so simple
ОтветитьI CAN USE IT AT SCHOOL!!!! time to download some games cause my teacher cant say it isn't test approved though it says it is
ОтветитьHow do you get the calculator return x variable? When I type x, it just returns undef without the x variable.
ОтветитьIt's so late im watching calculator videos im straigtup bouta acend
ОтветитьI have a Casio Algebra FX2.0Plus for around 20 years I believe. Good enough for me
ОтветитьCan it play games tho
Ответить"Numworks is better than TI-84"
Weird flex but okay
