I been blessed to live in Utah. Once I decided to get into guns, I realized how blessed this state still is for gun owners, let's keep it like that.

It is one of my lifetime goals to be able to share shooting with my wife. I shoot in USPSA, carry daily, take medical equipment with us wherever I can, and teach handgun lessons, but my wife simply isn't interested.

I got her to go shooting 2 times before we had kids, and she did well, but she didn't catch the bug. I was hoping after the birth of our son that she would take more interest in leaning self defense, but that's not the case yet. For example, even the medical equipment (gauze,TQ, etc.) that I put in our spare diaper bag pocket, she refers to that stuff as "my stuff", and "why do I have to bring that stuff everywhere?". 😞

Found my future husband when he put a set of nods on my head. We were both at the end of bad relationships and he always treated me with respect. The boyfriend I had hated the idea of me going shooting "with the boys" and bitched when I ripped a hole in his gun bag with the 50 cal tripod (I shot it enough I ripped a hole). Yeah he wasn't the one.
Want to get her into guns, keep it fun, and treat her like one of the guys. She's not stupid, she just might not know much about it. I didn't, and now I really love it.
