The shine you demonstrate isn't really from the way you used the hot brush, or the hot brush itself. It's from the products you've put into your hair, particularly the conditioners and the heat protector spray, both of which contain dimethicones (sometimes in the product as polydimethylsiloxane or dimethylpolysiloxane), a type of synthetic silicone that protects the hair from heat while giving it the shine that consumers like so much. If you changed the products but used your same technique, you'll find that the shine won't be there, and the finish will be different. One thing you may want to try in terms of staying power is good old fashioned setting lotion while your hair is wet before you blow dry, still using your technique. The result may surprise you.

I have started to use this brush. My have is nice and smooth on the day I uss it but this becomes grassy on the next day. I use a good leave in conditioner before blowing. Where is the mistake? I also tried to use the brush without any products applied before amd it’s the same result starting woth the next day: grassy hair.

I bought one recently but when I've used it my hair wasn't pretty like when I see other's results , it was more like I have blue dried it without brushing it , so I didn't like the result , I don't know what I've done wrong .
