iOS 17.4.1 - FIX Battery DRAIN on iPhone

My 12 Pro was on ios 16 when I got it, then I updated it to the recent update and now it goes down 20% in less than 30 minutes.

Definitely an IOS 17.4 issue. Turned off all background updates. Two days since the update I was at 99% 4hrs ago. Watched one 30 min utube video. Now at 12%. Unacceptable!!

17.4.1 slightly lag on my non pro iPhone 15 whenever it loads slow! Also now my battery already turns 99% for just 5 months of use! 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just updated to 17.4.1. I haven’t had background app refresh activated at all and within an hour, my battery went down a lot

this is not a fix, the update is garbage, which seems you didn´t get.

I’m in iOS 17.5 beta 4 and the battery life and performance is way better on this build then iOS 17.4.1 it’s a software issue

my background refresh is turned off and it is still the same, my phone is draining battery 2x it used to be

Thanks for your help, the new update is draining my battery so bad, my phone is constantly hot, so I turned off all my apps battery refresh buttons, and it fixed my problem!

iphone 14 pro is my secondary phone, means I rarely use it, still got 100% Battery health after almost 1 year. But new update draining Battery a lot

Battery drain is unreal on iPhone 15 😢 100% battery life. This update is utter garbage

My battery drains a tad bit faster but it still lasts a pretty long down. Very small but some-what noticeable difference

Changing that setting doesn’t prevent the app from running in the background.

17.4 was absolutely great

iPhone 12 Pro here, running the rereleased iOS 17.4.1 Build # 21E237 with no issues, much more stable than the previous update… however, you need a Mac to run Finder and manually update after iCloud backup

iPhone 13 is heating too much while charging after this update
