No BS Samsung Q60B Review

Even in a dark room it is way to dark for me

How would you stack the Samsung Q60 against the Samsung CU8000? Not concerned about the price gap and already have a Samsung soundbar / woofer, but seeing different reviews that almost indicate the Samsung CU8000 is a better image. This review sounds like the OLED Q60 needs quite a bit of calibration to meet the out of the box imagine of the CU8000?

My local store has this for $650 for the 75". I'm very tempted to get it at that price because it seems like a stellar deal.

I bought my 43" and didn't open it for about a year, due to personal circumstances. When I did, the power cord was missing. I eventually ended up contacting Samsung for it, and they gave me the run around for about a week before finally saying it was too late to get it, and they would have to charge me $26 plus shipping for a new cord!
No matter how good the TV is, the customer service sucks! I now own a $500 paperweight.

Was in the market for a new TV and was going to spend $1200 ish but i managed to order this in a BestBuy store for $247 clearance. Couldnt beat the price for the TV

Picked this unit up in 70” for 699.91 before tax at my local Sam’s club. I think they made a mistake lol.

Did you turn the power saving mode off? It's the factory default and murders the picture quality.

I’m coming from a Samsung Plasma 1080p 51” to this which is my first 4k tv…. I figured if I was going to spend 500 bucks or so on a 4k 65”, I might as well go a little extra and get qled if I could. I got this on sale for $750 from Best Buy. I have not yet picked it up and it was their last one in stock. I’m hoping it’s a huge upgrade for me as I’ve never owned 4k anything before.

Should i get this newer 2022 q60b or go for the older but upgraded q70a at the same price

This review really comes off as a sales pitch for the TCL. I have a broken TCL 65” tv that temporarily is replaced with a 15 year old Sony that has a far nicer picture quality so I’m calling BS on this review and will report back with my thoughts on the Samsung.

I got the 50inch Q60B on an open box deal for 600$. I think relative to what i paid i got a pretty good deal on a mid grade TV.

Just saw this review after purchasing the 65" Q60B and I gotta say your comments are spot on. The edge-lit tech is bothering me quite a bit, as I can see bright lights on several areas next to the bezel, especially on cropped content (the bars should be black, and they're far from it!). Is this normal for edge-lit TVs? Seriously considering returning it to Costco because of this.

I did have 60b and used your settings for it, just to try it. The new 60b tv had a green line right down the middle due to damage, out of the box. So while i was waiting for my new 75b tv to arrive. I used the settings on the 60b.
My new TV is a 75B.
Will the same settings work for the new 75b tv? Thanks

i got a q60b 43" for dorm room enjoyment (gaming, tv series, movies) and it has been nothing but amazing. while yes i would love to have the 4k 120hz for my ps5/xsx still being at 4k60fps its still out of this world. high detail, high brightness, high color range. and while its not LG's Oled tech the blacks still look really damn good. if your in the $400 range for a 4k tv the q60b is insane. paired with a Samsung b450 soundbar for $150 for a total of about $600 you have an insane home entertainment system

you forgot to mention one of the best features it has built in Game Pass

I just bought the q60b 85 inch and it’s simply amazing. It has higher detail compared to its predecessors up until 90. What I mean by detail is the pores on skin and detail on clothing are top notch. The color is great but not as contrasted as the higher models. Simply calibrate the colors and brightness on the q60b and you have the best TV out there for it’s price.

Is this a good tv for the PS5? I'm not an extreme gamer.....but just swapped my PS4 for the PS5....and got this Tv for way under 1000..... around 800.....your input would be appreciated...thank you
