Is it worth it for someone who has, say, $1000 to invest in yield farming? From what I understand as a noob in this area, APY is basically what you make per year on the investment. Safer investments are like 20% a year. However, is there something on top of that you are earning that I'm not understanding here? Because $250 extra a year isn't that much passive income imo.

I did forex on my own for awhile and was eventually able to turn $2000 into $7000 in the span of 7 months. However, I used a software to do it which requires me to pay $200 a month to use it. I'm a bit impatient so something like $2-400 a year wouldn't really do it for me.
