as soon as i heard talk to themselves i was like is this me? i talk a lot to myself. and i mean a lot. to me it seems like too much. but i do see how it helps me get my thinking more linear but also going to random things that happen to come to mind. I also know of someone who i think is more intelligent than me and yet they say that the inner voice doesn't exist for them and neither do they speak to themselves and gives me a look when i do it in front of them.

I’m 70 now and wish I had that opportunity when I was in grade school. Being diagnosed as ADD/ADHD at my age is kind of late but not too late to gather a handle on it. Realized that there was a problem a few years ago not knowing what I really had.

Looks like my very area. I am a Realistic wildlife artist, and DO want a more less clutter area. But the room is part of where I sleep, hang my clothes, have plants that can be outside, but also house, but I live in the NORTH, and end up in my 1/4 art studio. I do see things I do not use through out the month, and could be placed else where, in a storage box in the basement. Do I consider, or would other consider me as Intelligent, nah. Maybe a wee bit.... I am 75, dyslexic and throughout school, and by teachers, at HOME and by my own mother, as STUPIED , DUMB, IDIOT. or too dumb, that I will never amount to much. I only have a short time left to prove them wrong, or should say myself.

What about a broad and otherwise open rate in music, as well as noteworthy pattern recognition?

If I am so smart, why am I so dumb? :(

One thing about me is the way many of the people I encounter while out in the real world take one look at me and immediately place me in the "poor, likely homeless" category due simply to the fact that among other things I find mirrors useless for the most part. I don't spend time perfecting the perfect image, I don't care if my clothes are mismatched or ill fitting, I keep my hair extremely short because spending time frittering with it is a waste of time, my shoes are often older and nearer to completely worn out than most homeless people I have encountered. The fact of the matter is I am not poor nor am I homeless I just don't have time to fret over things that will be meaningless tomorrow. I've got more important (to me) things to attend to.

heres a twist hehe, I feel like... lol sometimes intelligent ppl WANT to be unintelligent & social/normal(like the rest of 'em)so they don't feel isolated or even alienated by being smart enough to know what's right & do that even when most ppl kinda don't even rlly care & the smarter the individual the more they want to escape this curse of being right hahaha but i digress...

Aligning yourself with these traits may make you feel better but it's just traits. I know an extremely extroverted person who I consider very intelligent and he is not aligning even with half of these, in my opinion there is no clear signs except obvious one, they're just so much smarter than everyone else around them.

The couch potato and day dreamer does not fit.

I'm laughing at #1. Some highly intelligent people aren't messy. I've heard this myth of intelligent people being messy for some time, but find it flawed. #3 Ditto. Swearing is just BS. I do many of these things listed, but #1 and #3 don't apply to me and many I know in my circle.

Cold showers? Fuck, no! I'll stick to staying up until one in the morning thinking...

Let people close to you be the judge don’t relate to something on the internet saying you’re smart. You have to remember that the brain is extremely bias to itself. And one thing that is annoying for me is people believing they are the smartest person in the world when I’m all reality they’re ignorant and lack accountability. It’s 4am I’m writing my thoughts I need sleep.

I have almost all of those habits, except, not sure if I talk to myself much, but I did say something out loud in astonishment, when he said "they take cold showers", because I take cold showers every day

What i notice about most videos like this is that they feel like someone who isnt what they are talking about using a few examples to guess. Ive heard the curse word thing way too much, but because you put that they tend to have a higher vocabulary it made me agree. Normaly people say the curse words are the higher vocabulary and then people who swear think they are smarter.

Nailed me on every aspect except the doodling; I would call this list very accurate.

Being Intelligent is not the same as being Rational.
Do they clean their clothing & wash themselves? Do they care about getting rid of fleas & bed bugs out of their rooms? How about slugs pretending to be genius like stinky Einstein or Beethoven?

I like many of these lists, tho myself or anyone intelligent I’ve ever know doesn’t match any of these. NFG

I had some thoughts that went along the lines of the feature but I noticed that the wrong way is to look for justification for my actions and compare them is okay too but to be told that I am doing them wrong or right or even have someone point them out is narcissistic and not intelligent and narcissism is not a trait in intelligence
