Deathloop Review - 2021’s First Real GOTY Contender

This game is the only GOTY nominee that doesn’t deserve to be nominated. 7/10

I enjoyed Deathloop coming from a PC player! Yes I experienced crashes and lock ups in several occasions but that did not stop me from continuing on with the game itself! I got all achievements for Deathloop four nights ago prior to me writing this comment! This made Deathloop my twelfth game on Steam to become part of my Perfect Games list which I’m a proud Steam gamer for this and the rest of my Perfect Games on my Steam library! Deathloop also happens to be my fourth modern AAA to make my Perfect Games list (the first three being Cyberpunk 2077, Outriders, and Scarlet Nexus), and my second game by Bethesda to do so of that (the first one being Quake Remastered twenty days ago prior to me writing this comment)! Great video btw!

One of the most over-rated games of 2021.

The AI in this game sucks, the stealth elements in this game sucks.

Absolutely loving the game so far, I agree having Juliana invade your game or vica versa makes missions more strategic and chaotic !! GOTY contender for sure

Really enjoying the game I just hope they fix the rage quitting Colts when you protect the loop they should either be penalized or you should receive an automatic win

Has WhatCulture Gaming also received dirty review money like IGN and Gamespot which gives deathloop 10/10 with "No Con"? This channel now reeks too much corporational stench to my liking.

I'd be tempted to give it a try, but all of the Steam reviews saying that it stutters due to poor optimisation and resource-hungry anti-piracy software have put me off.

I seriously can’t see why this was a pa5 and pc exclusive. It graphically doesn’t look very impressive and I think the PS4 could have of run this game pretty easily and that way more people would of been able to play it due to the scarcity of the new generation.

It’s genuinely criminal that Arkane doesn’t get the credit they deserve

I'll be honest. I had no interest at all only knowing it was from Bethesda and I'm feeling burnt by them, but hearing who the developer is completely changed that. The titles they've done before speak to the pedigree of talent the studio has. With them at the helm I definitely trust the premise more.

Is no one going to mention the mob gangster standing behind jules the whole time?

In a year with Rift Apart and Psychonauts 2, it seems unusual to say that this is the "first" GOTY contender

I'm kinda super picky when it comes to first person shooters..... Really haven't found one I really like..... Like I really like how the shooting feels in destiny.... But prefer the one shot kills I get in far cry..... And that I can take out most camps with a sniper rifle... Though hate when they have two alarms and only one is visible from the high ground in sniping from....

Also having recently played what remains of Edith Finch I'm reminded why I love those walking sim games over the tedious slog of games with combat focus...

I really want the game but I'm struggling to get a ps5....gutted as I loved the dishonoured series

Yeah... no. Having a player that probably spent hundreds of hours invading other people's games and knowing the map inside out constantly messing with my run doesn't sound appealing to me whatsoever. It's the reason I initially didn't care at all about the game even though Arkane games are usually gold. Even with the option to just have the AI invade you at random moments feels as something more annoying to me than interesting or exciting.

Do they give an option to remove motion blur on PS5?

Well waht about No More Hero's 3 or Tales of arise, Pathfinder, Shin megami Tensei Metroid dreaf

It looks repetitive, ugly, and the ai is dumb as all hell, but when there’s nothing else out I guess you jump on whatever is barely fun in 2021

This game feels like they took the concept of Speed running, simplified it, then made an entire game around that idea.

When I thought it was basically a huge Hitman map with a tonne of possibilities, I was all for it...BUT as soon as I heard that it relied on other players--I couldn't be less interested.
