Because expeditions feel to be for NEW players. I have played NMS since 2016 so I do not need a primer or a quick start into a playthrough.

What I would like is to be able to get expedition awards I missed either through an exorbitant Quicksilver option or they post old expeditions again.

My 1600 u summit was on a highly toxic planet during a bad storm up to 1580 or something units and I had to fly straight up into the sky until the Jetpack ran out, f**k the fall damage and I got it. It was my first expedition, I've learned a lot. I totally would take the offered stairs I saw someone has built on a flat desert planet the next time. But it was fun to do this nightmare climb in corrosive hell.

If you are trying to scrap Iron Vulture for parts multiple times, you will only be able to do so if you finished the expedition with Iron Vulture as your main ship.

Imo the omega expadition was better adrift had some anoying milestones (like the robot one) the rewards for omega were better and the starborn runner is better in every way (other then the shield) then the vulture

I cant copy my vulture, it defaults to the ship I copied from my main save during the expedition

It's not Tritium + silicate powder, but Di hydrogen + silicate powder XD . Normally deuterium is produced by tritium + di hydrogen, but since in the initial parts of the expedition we cannot obtain tritium in any way because we cannot fly to space, HG must have decided to give us a viable alternative to the problem, otherwise we would have remained stuck on the surface of the first planet without any hope to fly.

I just finished this expedition and I have items I wanna get back to my main save, but the terminal is all locked up.
how do I get those items back to my main save?

Can you just add the iron panels or the stealth paint to an existing ship?

I agree woth one commenter that it would be nice to have an expedition for endgame and some new endgame content.

I'm only now realizing i should've done it using my main save rather than making a new one. I can't claim multiple Vultures on my main save become it says I've not done it.... And I'm NOT doing all that again.

The synthetic creature missions will also direct you to star sytems that need specific drives to get to, so work towards getting all star color access.

I wosh they would increase the number of items you can add when building. After awhile things stop rendering correctly and you fall through your base

I messed up and accidentally ended my expedition with a ship that was not the Iron Vulture while moving things between ship inventories and things I wanted to put in the terminal. I know most items can be sent to other players while in social spaces like the anomaly, so would anyone be willing to help a brother out and give me the parts i need to make my own? I'll repay you for your nanite troubles in enough runaway mould to make up the difference🥲

if you only have your one copy like I did, go to your nearest space station, and make a save of your restore point just in case you're not fast enough. Then, go to the terminal and go through the salvage process, BUT as soon as the window telling you it has been scrapped pops up, click out of there as fast as you can, and switch your docked ship in the quick menu. It should give you the part you picked without scrapping a ship. If it doesn't work, just reload the restore point and do the whole process over again. For my own sake, I always get in and out of my ship to save my point in case something goes wrong.

I am pretty new to the game, I find the new expedition too tedious, like why do I have to visit 12 save stations and a repeat the same thing a lot of times to progress? Maybe there is a faster way to do it but as far as I know from the game this is boring me so much

I enjoyed this one...short and sweet, felt unique enough.....but i want to see those titan worm planets in normal play....not the ones we currently have, but the ones with the cursed dust ore

Is the ship your flying in this expedition?

It's quite a let down compared to the last expedition's ship reward: The Starborn Runner. That ship, I'm still using as my daily driver, has maxed out stats in all cases. It's the fastest ship by FAR, I was able to get 42k DPS Infra-Knife, and the hyperdrive can jump almost 2k with barely any fuel usage, with max upgrades.

I cant finish dough/bread mileston. I have 22 dougs and game still wants bread..

I have switched on my starting expedition ship to transfer some goods to the main save before ending the expedition. Now i only have an option to copy this ship instead of the Vulture...Is there a way to choose which ship to copy?

what if I didn't use the Expedition Terminus (I created a new save) for this expansion? I completed the expedition already and claimed the Iron Vulture, but when I go use the Expedition Terminus, I only get the option to select starting equipment and Start Expedition, it doesn't say that the expedition has finished and I dont have the option to copy the multi tool or the starship. How do I get the terminus to reflect that I've already completed the expedition?

I managed to get to 1600u while on a planet with gravitational storms. During a storm I just jet packed as high as 1600u and got the milestone!

I wish the expeditions were shorter with better rewards and came out more often. Even using Xaine’s walkthrough it took me all day to complete. They need to let us repaint our current ships. It’s more realistic.

Do you have to do the expedition on your main save to rebuy the vulture?

Just completed my first Expedition in NMS. Got the Iron Vulture so I was pretty pleased with it. Then I tried to go into the Anomaly later and encountered a bug. The inner circular door that lets you into the Anomaly wouldn't open. Took me 4 tries and it almost didn't work then. Hope this bug isn't an ongoing issue and if so I hope it gets patched quickly.

Collected reward for upgrading my interceptor from A to S, then this said it was upgraded to S rank, but ship still A grade. I thought it would change later because of some kind of bug or whatever, but no. Maybe it doesn't work with imported ships.

Is this still obtainable now?
