22 thousand profiles? All of them mediocre at best. Why can't we get 22 awesome sounding profiles instead?

the silicon bit you can throw away cos you dont need it. Like i do whit my lescovers for the camera lens. chugg it!

i did not liek mine i traded mine the next day for a 4x12 cab . i had alot of issues with mine and i hated the software also at times it would just squeeel and not make the tone at all and i had to keep reload the tone and soem of the tones from the software would not sound proper but if i loaded on to the tone x after trying a few time on the tone x it would sound different and fien but the software would be some stock junk tone that was bad

this looks like it was made for me - I don't have much money, I don't have much space and I'll go abroad soon. I also am the kind to think 'who needs all that' when confronted with pages of features; I need a gain tone that goes VROOM and a clean tone that goes v r o o m and thats it.

I'm with you on the ethics of profiling. It's a harbinger of things to come as AI infiltrates all aspects of our lives. A profile is essentially a deep fake.

First thing I tried to do when I hooked my new pedal up was to browse and prelisten the sounds from the online collection through the pedal itself. It surprised me that it's not possible: I have to actually upload a sound from the library to the pedal, overwrite one of the 20 slots, darg it to the A or B position. I can't even prelisten to the sounds already on the pedal through the Librarian, they have to be dragged to an A / B slot. I can't even edit the sound stored on the pedal, I have to drag it from the pedal library to the Main library, edit it (but my guitar is connected to the pedal so I can't easily switch to listening to the application where I'm doing the edits), then drag it back to the pedal. Ok, it's not as bad as losing the tiny cover of the USB port, but it's still some sort of an inconvenience!

How can we get your presets??

I'm imagining everyone will end up using the same patches and end up sounding like everyone else. You won't then just get told to use vintage 30's it will be a tone x. I'm not sure this is the way to go guys...

The One is not a game changer! Everything is already included in the pedal, the One has just limited functionality (ports) and a reduced size. And without a MIDI port you can only change it´s model by pressing a button manually while the pedal can be changed with MIDI. In this combination useless

There're several things to know about this device before buying it otherwise you could have some serious disappointements particularly in the context of stage and live use. there's room for improvments. Switching play modes is uneasy as weel as browsing safely through the stores presets. MIDI is not implemented.

sehr cooles und informatives video!! kann man bei der dünnen tonex se software vom tonex one auch externe captures von fremdanbietern importieren, oder muss man dazu auf die größere software upgraden?

Servus Henning :) habe gestern das Tonex One Pedal erhalten. Irgendwie kann ich die Software aber nicht runterladen. Hab das Gerät registriert und wenn ich dann im Product Manager die Software installieren will gibt’s eine Fehlermeldung. Weißt du zufällig woran das liegen könnte?

Deine Euphorie hatte mich angesteckt, gestern wurde ToneX One geliefert. Heute schicke ich es zurück. Nach 4 Stunden Kampf und Krampf mit dem IK Produktmanager ist es mir nicht nicht gelungen, an die Sound Library ranzukommen. Ich bin jetzt dreimal registriert und habe 3 mal die Bedienungsanleitung für die Sound Library als PDF. Die angebotene Hilfe führt einen im Kreis zu immer dem selben Mist. Mann bin ich froh dass ich das Ding zurücksenden kann.
Deine Performance ist sensationell, ich schau Dir für mein Leben gerne zu. Schönen Gruß

It does sound digital to my ear! I can hear a lot of artifacts (bees), but then I suffer from hyper hearing!

You can tell when HPi loves the gear, his playing soars! Question : I use Amplitube 5 already : can you put these presets on it or only Tonex's?

Nope. Not for me.

Maybe good for emergencies, but usual scratchy, one-dimension tones. Too much gear - who is buying all this stuff?

Most built in high-gain sounds were rubbish though.
