Do you have a training program for futures trading? You seem like a great teacher

What setup (platform + datafeed) would you recommend for trading order flow based strategies on ES futures? I'm looking for footprint charts, deltas, DOM, absorption, exhaustion etc. Down the line I would want to write an automation script for this strategy too..

I think you are undercutting the amazing capabilities of Sierra Chart. I've been using Sierra Chart for over 1 year and it is really incredible what it can do out of the box. I just spent the last week testing Ninja because they have a plugin I might be interested in. Man! Ninja is junk compared to Sierra. The window management is garbage, the drawing tool capability, the customization is terrible. It's super limited compared to Sierra. And you can get your charts looking beautiful with Sierra. Some of the GUI is old school, but what you look at every day is first class.

Thank you Roderick for your information. I did trade before with NinjaTrader. No complains at all, just only the price I was paying for the platform was around 100 US$ a month for the software. A bit pricy for a not active trader. But I like it a lot. Now I am at AMP with free use of Quantower. Quantower is very easy to use. Only I doubt about AMP. Do you know by chance is AMP a Market Maker? Because it happened often that my trades were taking out exactly at StopLoss and then the price travelled to my predicted direction with speed. While with NinjaTrader (Dorman) it hardly happened to me. MultiChart can also be use free with AMP. MultiChart can compare with NinjaTrader. I am looking forward for your reply about Market Maker.

Just what I was looking for, thanks for explaining the difference between different platforms and brokers! I just got started with apex and difficult to understand the different platforms. What does Rithmic fall under? a platform also? Is Ninja it's own platform and broker like you said tradovate is?

I love trading on TradingView via Tradestation. They have good fee structures and all the best contracts and unreal customer service. They answer their phone right away any time I have needed help and will walk you through anything. Plus I can fund my account with USDC or BTC as well as my bank account and I can trade equities, options, etc. I have a Ninja account but have yet to use it because I am already addicted to all my TradingView indicators. I’ve traded on as short as a 20sec chart via this method and never had an issue with execution. But I typically trade a 3min chart and it’s flawless.

Ninja Trader is great for execution. The indicators are ok. I have privately coded indicators and the loading is slow but it is technically much faster than trade station. Its just not up to my standards. Ninja is #1 honestly for execution. Trading View is the best for charting,

I use tws to trade futures. The execution speed is excellent but the chart is very ugly and difficult to use and configure.
I'm thinking of switching to Ninja Trader in the near future.
thanks for this video

You have a lot of information no doubt but would be smooth if u had it written down and stick to topic in a fluent way. Lot of side notes and “by the way” and “going to talk about that later” and more “by the way” make the information get lots of interruptions. Thanks for ur vid tho

Hello, first I want to say great video and thank you for your help! Would you recommend AMP with quantower? I am looking to get into micro futures trading and so far I feel I am leaning toward AMP as a broker….It seems I will have to pay for data no matter which broker I choose. Since I am just getting started with futures and will be only trading 1 MES or MNQ per trade I want to keep my broker/platform as lost cost as possible until I have more experience. Thank you for any feedback I really appreciate the help!

I have a dilemma choosing with platform to go with. A few years ago i used Ninjatrader and paid for a lifetime plan. Then stopped trading futures and have been on Thinkorswim for options trading. Now i want to get back into futures trading but all my important indicators are on tradingview. The thing is I like Tradovate because its web based and has autobreakeven and trailing stop features and lightweight but it lacks indicators. Even when hooked up to tradingview, tradingview order panel doesn't have the trailing stop and autobreakeven functions. So I'm having trouble deciding what to do. Now Ninja launched a web based and mobile platform but not sure if it will have their entire library of indicators.

Hello, congratulations for the channel! In the past I have traded with the broker Infinity Futures and Sierra Chart, and I must say that Sierra is really good!
I do day trading, statistical study and ATM positions. I doubt whether to use Ninjatrader with Ninja Broker, or AMP Futures with Sierra Chart. What do you recommend? And which data feed do you recommend for the study of the historian? I trade on 1-2-3, ross hook, reversal, Joe Ross trading.
A thousand thanks!!!!

I was with Elite trader funding program, but due to their 20/80 profit split, No news trading, 40% rule, 80% monthly charges - I am switched to Apex trader funding instead, especially with the 80% discount. However, I am having such difficulty trading with Ninja because I had a great setup with Tradovate for trading and Trading view for chart. Is there a way to have Trading view with Apex trader funding?

what are a few of the best platforms for rapid-fire day trading? not technically 'high frequency' but very fast manual trading. multiple trades per minute in some cases. for example, there is a broker out there called LightSpeed that claims to be the best for rapid trading with great fills. i've been warned that Tradavate + TradingView is not the best combination for rapid day trading. too many moving parts or something. thank you

1.- I linked the plaforms Tradingview & Tradovate but when I try to buy a contract it tells me the cost is $12k USD, (In my papertrade account)
How can I actually buy a contract in $50 USD?

Notes:
I have not paid the plan Tradovate -SIM $12.99 USD
I only Paid the price to linked the account on the Ad-On
When I use the demoacccount of tradovate on tradingview it doesnt tell me the trade value only when I use the papertrade of tradingview
