After Effects tutorial for beginners : How to reverse video ( EASY ! ) by MHTUTORIALS

Is there a way to reverse the video without having its frame jump off a bit. What I mean to say is I'm trying to play some footage and at certain time have it reverse, like a "backwards in time" effect, but when I apply the time reverse layer, it looks a bit off than the previous frame, any way to achieve a clean precise reverse?
