My brother in Christ, Leuchttrum makes soft cover notebooks like the Midori Lolol.
ОтветитьAhh yes naked virgin Leuchtturm. Cant beat it
ОтветитьWhy not try a soft cover Leuchtturm? But this works as well…
Ответитьit's you notebook, you can do with it whatever you want! when people shit in their hand and throw it against the wall thinking its better than pooping straight into the toilet, who am I to judge?
ОтветитьNice info. 👍
ОтветитьWhat do you do with the covers? I know many people that would like them, Including myself. I make junk journals for people!
ОтветитьHelp, I come from Germany, a German would never do such a thing! You would be arrested here for something like that! 🤣But I think it's a great idea, I'm just looking for good ideas for a notebook and I don't like Leuchtturm's design.
Thank you very much Hulk😁
You say you are not an artist, but I disagree. I found your sketchnote pages to be very pleasing to the eye, and something I ASPIRE to! lol. Nice review of notebooks. Bleeding and ghosting annoys me no end, and I am still looking for the solution. I find it odd that there are not more sources for fine paper products...
ОтветитьJust got my first Moleskine today to see what all the fuss is about.
I use mine for doodles and art ideas, notes and journaling all in one really
Please use a sharper knife next time. That gave me anxiety watching you struggle.
ОтветитьNot crazy at all. I've taken covers off my Moleskines for years. Particularly when I have many leftover pages unused. I just make new notebooks.
ОтветитьThanks for good idea. Its so simple and so useful. I mean you can do any cover you like any notebook. I have the same issue as you did. Will try it out with Midori system.
Ответить😱😱😱
ОтветитьThat's crazy indeed :( :/
ОтветитьWhat's the black leather cover you use?
ОтветитьI'm so glad I'm not the only one who does this! I've also inserted a few grid pages into the front (replacing the first bound bit of pages) so I can bullet journal at the front and longhand journal after. Love it! If we spend so much on then, we may as well make the work perfectly for us!
ОтветитьWay to go! Customize what really works and makes you feel good about writing and making notes.
ОтветитьI do this with hardback books too! I have a leather A5 traveller-style cover and if I take the covers off there's room for two thick ones; one for my bullet journal and one for my daily pages. I keep the covers I've removed, and when the notebook is full, I stick them back on for archiving.
ОтветитьWhat is your pencil case?
ОтветитьThanks for the video! Where did you get your leather notebook cover from pls?
ОтветитьInterpol fears this man. The Notebook cover killer
ОтветитьIt’s not the distruction i dislike lol its the unfinished spine that upsets me lol. Think id stick some tape down that :)
ОтветитьCan you please tell me what type of leather cover you are using in this video?
ОтветитьOh my god, I almost cried...it was hurting so bad, watching you, taking the hardcover off.....🤣 I´m a Leuchtturm fan, been using them for 10 years for bullett journeling and journeling. I always find them cheap, for like 6/7 Euro at Tk Maxx. ALWAYS buy hardcovers... I love looking at them standing in my shelf, with the year sticker on them. AND THEY HAVE COVERS!!!!!!😆 I understand that you need them to be light weight, because you put them in a leather cover, but Leuchtturm has softcovers, too.
I liked your video anyways... 😉
I love it!! Have you tried an A5 stalogy? The paper is thinner but hold all kinda of inks well. And it’s soft bound like the moleskine.
ОтветитьThis is awesome!!! All you have to do now is secure the spine like Midori does. How is this paper with fountain inks?
ОтветитьWell, I must say this is brilliant! I'm definitely going to do it 👍
ОтветитьNo. Never. 😁
Ответить"I can't be arsed migrating things every 5 minutes" - I feel you! This is why I started using an A5 size traveler's notebook cover, because now I keep one insert for the stuff I know I'll need over and over again, and others for the daily stuff. This way I can change the daily log insert once it's finished, and still keep stuff I don't care to keep migrating in place.
I do love the Midori MD paper and I'll fight you to the death saying it's better than the Leuchturm! 😛 I'm not exactly a notebook snob per se but I do dislike Moleskine for their rubbish paper - even Extra Fine fountain pens bleed through!
My preference in order: Midori, Tomoe River, Clairefontaine, Leuchturm.
Naked leuchchturm… oh Martin that’s brave pulling off cover.. I’ve made my own hardback books. Not as difficult as you think. Got a kit from company in England. You could make your own inserts?
ОтветитьIf you appreciate this video, you can support my work with Superthanks, above ⬆🙏
