iPhone X & 11 Pro Face ID repair (sensor replacement) - broken flex 4K 60fps

So, I am new to your page and have a question to ask Jerry Mobile. After replacing the flood illuminator and sensor from the old broken flex cable to a new one, I thought you'd need to copy data on the old flex cable to a new one. I know your video says a lot about my question, but I want to know. I'd await your reply...

Good afternoon boss, I have this similar issue and I want to ask if I can replace the earpiece flex with followcome flex and transplant the two components from the old one to new one or the flex must be a new one?

Good pm idol ask ko lang nahulog kasi ung phone ko sa pool at nagmadali agad ako magpunta sa tech dito malapit samin para idry yung loob binaklas nya lahat and dinry ung loob then ayaw na bumukas ng lcd ko nag order sya agad nung GX na lcd at nakabit na tapos binalik ung truetone kaso may important message at nawala face id sabi nila mababalik pa face id kaso wla daw sila gamit dun daw un sa flex my chance papo ba mabalik ung face id ng iphone 11 pro max ko? Geek squad said my X need new earpieces speaker , but they would have to change out screen as well i said nah. took it to a boot leg place changed out earpiece speaker and same issue sounds real low smh.

when you change flex and components do you need a programmer? or just swap and it works?

We take the all Face ID system of a dead iPhone and put it on the other phone whether it will work or not ??

I tried this repair... I bought 3 other flex cables, but failed 3 times ! its impossible if you are not trained enough.

Face ID sensor have nothing to do with earpiece assembly. Face ID module (known as “dot projector”) is a part of front camera module (situated in the phone frame itself) and not earpiece assembly. It does often malfunction due to camera module ribbon connector damage but yet again, nothing to do with “earpiece assembly”. This certainly won’t fix “Face ID” malfunction. Other issues, yes, such as proximity sensor issues, but not face ID issues.
