Cool base
ОтветитьI love easy bases that can be added and upgraded as you level up and get more resources
ОтветитьGlad I'm not the only one who does this kind of design, pretty straightforward if I do say so muself. Anyways, thank you for showcasing this, it is useful at least for me because it shows me I'm not crazy, as since the release I use these thinst poles to build paths during horde night, and I confirm it works really well.
ОтветитьInteresting idea, will have to build it in my game. Great base design for melee. Also, shout out to cautiouspancake for discovering the 12 block high rage mode technique.
Ответитьuse ladders on the blocks going up to give extra ways up. if you run two crossing poles one over the other you have a redundancy. use a plate on the top block so they stack without a space or there may be some pathing issues.
ОтветитьI have this type of bm base, but just 2 ways up for the zombies, thicker pole to run to me and no trench. Like evolved version of the tiny hatch tunnel base Jawoodle has made in the past. I made it wider so i can have a buddy in there if someone wants to take on BM with me and i have those scaffolding ladders as bird killing bars in my roof since only little cop spit passes through them. This gave me lots of ideas to upgrade it <3
Ответитьas always I loved the music and watching you build Mr. Reach
ОтветитьThat is such a clever way to get the zombies walking a line to you. The real thin line is brilliant, and I never even thought about the barrier for the anti-zombie stacking. Can’t believe I never thought of that. Fantastic video Reach!
ОтветитьIt looks like it would work as a phased build to handle a day 7 horde. Obviously, it wouldn't be complete by day 7, but you don't need to worry about vultures then. My concern is demos. Why not hook the sides towards the tower so you can shoot demos in the back as they hop up the steps? It would require moving the ladders, but that shouldn't be an issue.
ОтветитьBut Cops though. Cheers mate
ОтветитьWhat tool are you using for insta-dig?
Ответитьhow does this deal with cop spitters?
Ответитьhow do you make the piller across?? mine keeps falling due to lack of supports
ОтветитьWhat changes other than materials would you make for later game?
Ответитьyou forgot some parts during the tutorial
ОтветитьHeres me living out of a cobblestone cube and surviving horde night by standing on a building with another cube base
Ответитьgreat video!
Ответитьjust built this base and used it on horde night 7 farming for it took a while so I suggest you dig the hole first that gave me lots of clay and cobble but instead I farmed it a couple problems I had. 1. dogs got caught in the pit and may have broke some blocks 2. two out of the 6 blocks in the pit 2 were destroyed and also some ground but I managed to survive I would recommend this base in its cobble form up to horde night 28 then I would switch to metal then when harder zombies start spawning make a more advanced base.
ОтветитьMaybe I am misunderstanding something as I am mostly new to the game.. How are you actually supposed to live out of this "base"? You can't even fit a workbench!
ОтветитьWhat is that gun
ОтветитьNice base idea. One thing I would add would be a place for the dogs to run out of in the pit.
ОтветитьI took this design and added an arm either side 8 long 5 deep, standing height + 2 and put electric fence x 2 either side of the walkway and its the best base ever. Day 567 with two other peeps and it rocks.
ОтветитьOk Ive used soemthign Like this for a while, But I use 2 Stairs goign out from sides, But they have a Pole as well to a Round column (3 Way Intersection) where zombies have to make a sharp Turn, many fall here greatly slowing their Numbers at door, ... Next the Thin Pole that run to the Front door and to the stairs on each side, I Run One Hoizantal at top of its Invisible block and one stacked on top of it Downward so it is 2 thick, never had them break both, But if you are worried, your base has 4 Sides, you can easy add more kill paths on each side, and use Hoizantal power doors to break pathing till needed. I also put stairs up not ladders or Dogs will break stuff in your pit, because they cant path back up. Next you can put a Punch turret on a pillar to knock them off the Path to you, also limits how many can be at door at a time, easy mode. the 2 arms you put out I have all the way to ground for strength But I also Run electric fences in them so easy to get to and repair, and mine are longer, normally 4-5 fences . NOW the one Question I have is WHY the NOTCH under where you stand, if a Zombie lands on it he will start beating, Because they are programmed to not like to go down to get up, So that either needs a pole to access side or Smooth all the way down so they drop to bottom. ( I do 12 block drop as well)
