FFXIV What Class Should You Play | New Player Guide

I just want to point out to new players, that where the FFXIV community is almost entirely made up of nice and helpful people, there are still some snobby players that hate when you don't play their way. I just hope you don't feel discouraged to play a class or the game as a whole when toxic players treat you like trash.

Find some friends or FC mates to guide you or practice in lower dungeons until you're confident in your skill, if need be.

But again, a majority of players are willing to help you or be patient with you. It's a pretty good community.

Best advoce to pick a job for beginners is pick what interests you the most as your going to play it for hours and if you pick something that doesnt interest you, you're likely to get bored and leave the game or start over co stantly to find a class you want to play. But 3 easiest to play from each type id say tank = warrior, dps = summoner, healer = white mage. And legacy type control is better for movement and cone targeting is better to.

Interesting you skipped Bluemage that FFXIV absolutely disrespected which was by far was a top 5 job in FFXI any reason? Besides Square Enix screwed one of the best jobs over.

I'm so confused. I looked for class guides 2022, just starting out with the game. The video title in the search results says 2022, now that I have the video open it says 2021 and it was uploaded in 2020... Is this still up to date or should I look elsewhere?

Why do people keep praising the writing of this game? It hits levels of weeb cringe that should not be allowed, every single bad cliché is there. I used to write better stories than this when I was eleven, and all I did back then was jut copy Tolkien and replace orcs with gargoyles.

i chose arcanist personally i really enjoy it, played WoW for 10+ years and i played GW 2 for a few years, i played the old republic, and ive always been a tank main, but in FF i find this arcanist to be really cool and unique i usually hate casters, especially in WoW.

Before watching, I think archer is the best starter class.

Starting as an archer was a big mistake... It was so excruciatingly boring. I almost quit after 2 hours of gameplay... The story kept me hooked for a bit which helped

WHEN YOU hit level 30 on a class do you go back to your class quest givers , warrior thermatugue etc to get the advanced class jewel or whatever it is how do you get that
