25 Things I did that made me suspect I might have ADHD:
1. Can’t sit still/get comfortable
2. As a child I would tell myself to behave every day but follow up with misbehaving shortly after 3. Leaving many tasks unfinished
4. Zone out within seconds of someone talking
5. Can’t do anything with music/tv in the background
6. Interrupt people all the time so I don’t forget what I’m about to say or finish someone’s sentence for them
7. Can’t sleep at all, suddenly think of things just before I’m about to fall asleep and have to immediately write it down on my notes so I don’t forget which would wake me up again
8. Was extremely misbehaved at home but good in school
9. Addictive personality
10. Clumsy, always have bruises
11. Very messy
12. Can’t make decisions, ask others to make decisions for me
13. Constantly say the same things, refer back to the same jokes but to an extreme, repetitive like Tourette's like I can’t stop saying something
14. Often cut corners and make double the work for myself because things take too long
15. Can’t focus enough to sit and watch a film, have to be on my phone or having my back tickled to focus on it
16. Get obsessive with things for short periods of time (fashion, hobbies etc) but then shortly leave it
17. Sensory issues. Touching cardboard makes me gag, same if my hands get dry. Clothes touching me makes me feel weird
18. I pace when talking on the phone to concentrate
19. Very self aware
20. Using food as a distraction, either eat nothing or binge
21. Can’t recognise faces/remember names in films
22. Barely remember anything from childhood. Memory is terrible possibly getting worse
23. Hypochondriac
24. Feel like I’ve learnt nothing my whole life, don’t know how to be an adult, get everyone to do things for me. Feel incapable
25. Strong sense of justice
