I couldn’t watch to the end. The small amount started a lot of what-if theories going through my head. I need to stop before I become paranoid.

I think that actually because Ruhadevata deleted herself and her memories she probably "changed" the irminsul about sibling. So because Irminsul was cleared it also now thinks that sibling belongs to Teyvat

I think the Sinner might also can be the Primordial One. Because Mihoyo never actually confirmed who won in the battle between 1st and 2nd. This but a crack theory of mine:
- The seelie race in their prime (powerful fairy deities) is an ally of Phanes (1ts), Phanes create first human race, and the seelie guided them, teach them, skills, techniques to live, survive ( use fire, craft tools, hunting, plating etc....) . After the war between Phanes and the 2nd broke out , although we don't know who won, yet, but the result is the seelies got banished and cursed, strip of all powers and reduced to the form of little ghosts we see today, if Phanes won, why on earth he kill and curse all of them, his allies... After this, the sole survivor (as we know) was Nabu Malikata, some how she survived the purge, maintained her form and mind but also lost big parts of her powers. Later Nabu Malikata is the one who taught Amun about Forbidden Knowledge. The reason she knows about it is because she once served the one who wield it - Phanes.
- The architecture of the first human age (Phanes's era) use the unique grey/gold architecture, very easy to distinct from any nation's architecture of Teyvat today. This structure can be spotted in the inverted city under the Chasm, underground ruins in Fontaine, Enkanomiya and of course the unknown sanctuary where we find the Sinner.
- Talk about Enkanomiya, they are the peoples of the first age. Plunged deep down in the fight of their god Phanes and the 2nd. After an ammount of time, Ishtaroth (shade of time) one of four shades of Phanes came down to Enka and helped them build Dainichi Mikoshi. It helped them to live their and told them dont ever try to comeback to the surface before leaving them forever and never return. The people ASSUMED that since Ishtaroth still alive, Phanes must have win. My guess here is, Phanes lost to the 2nd, and Ishtaroth is the last surviving shade - since it's the only shade to answer their cries, all of Phanes human civilization were destroyed by the 2nd - now is Celestia and created anew. Ishtaroth tried to help the last surviving Phanes peoples to live under Enkanomiya and tell them to not return to surface to protect them from the new reign of Celestia, because if they comeback they will all be killed. It then go up and distract the 2nd-Celestia from the zone where Enkanomiya dwell and got killed, thats why it never return to Enka again.Thousands years later Orobashi discovered people of Enka, bring them back on Teyvat, it ask them to change their name to Teyvat's name (specifically Inazuma names) and stood up to take the death sentence for them (and because the knowledge of it about the Phanes's era a.k.a Be4 Sun&Moon) - in the form of waging war against Ei - Shogun.

Edit: This all is heavily contrasted with what Apep told us, i know. Because Nibelung sought the Forbiden Knowled - Abyss to fight against Phanes then theres noway Phanes can be the Sinner. But its a crack theory, and who knows, perhaps after thousands and thousands of years, Apep might become a little deranged...?

If Clothar saw Dainsleif, wouldn't he have recognized him? Because I believe Dain holds some kind of a high ranking position from Khaenri'ah right????

for the “akasha pulses” promotional poster, while it could be khaenri’ah, in the actual archon quest wasn’t there no relevance of khaenri’ah for Sumeru’s final act?

the way he talks so vaguely about caribert’s mother despite it being “love at first sight”, the skeleton being in the field fertilizing the mushrooms growing in (even if her remains aren’t being used for it in like a mixture or something, just being dead and in the soil makes her a fertilizer), the fact that clothar gave the mother the scarf and then he says to traveler “we were… separated” and avoids the topic and now it’s on caribert, the way he completely dodges answering the question on the mushrooms (saying it doesn’t matter how), and like all his mannerisms and stuff. they make me think maybe clothar killed the mother in some kind of manic state because this guy clearly isn’t sane

Also, if you remember that quest, about a miner in the chasm, who gets possessed and is trying to blow up something underground that gives people hallucinations, then we meet a ghost of his child(i mean not a ghost since his daughter was alive and worked in Liyue) and then she helps us find the toy the miner kept at his person to remind himself of his daughter.

The miner describes the wish granter rock as "It's a very huge rock floating among other giant boulders. Also, it emits a faint light". Now they wont be as dumb to call a pillar "huge rock", not to mention bright blue glow doesnt exactly feel "faint", while a purple murky glow? hmm now we talking. At that time, we hadnt met the sinner, so the traveller just assumes that the miner is talking about the celestial nail. But again, we know that celestial nail doesnt cast hallucinations, its the abyssal power and the mud that does it. Sure celestial nail has an impact on leylines and affects the surrounding area, but we havent seen it having a direct effect on anyone's cognition so far.
Not to mention, the miner says that many folks had lost their minds under the hallucinations of wish granter, so he was planning on blowing it up. But guess what, he wasnt even near the nail, he was at the Stony halls, the inverted city we investigated with Dain. And there is no hanging floating crystal there. But do you know what is there? An inverted fountain that can relieve the curse somewhat. And who else seems to have power to do it? You guessed it..our boi sinner. Not to mention, the abyss twin seems to know about the place, or rather its connection with the sinner. Maybe the sibling saw caribert being released of the curse, and then they also accepted that the Sinner might be the only chance they have of freeeing Khaenriahns from the curse. Inverted city, inverted fountain, giant floating crystal...i believe the sinner is within the chasm, maybe in someother dimension or something, but they are related to that fountain for sure.

Also throwing in another interesting fact, there is a quest in merusea village, in which one of the melusines is delulu, or rather she can see the world in a different light. So you read a book to go into a worlkd, that she sees as colorful, but we see it as bleak and dark. Anyway, the moment you enter that world, look right back. You will see a door like portal that may hint that you entered from there. In that mirror/door/portal like thing, you ll see...guess what??..an INVERTED FOUNTAIN. That world is again, somehow linked to the inverted fountain we saw in the chasm. This is literally Fontaine story quest, unlike caribert quest, we arent even in the vicinity of the chasm, and yet we see an inverted fountain.

Fortunately Fontaine clarified that “descenders” doesn’t mean “anyone outside of the world”

This hits harder after discovering Khanriahs door near Tunigi Hollow!

If Kaeya is Caribert’s son it makes sense.

Caribert’s mother is from Mondstat so that could be why Kaeya was dropped off there.

Caribert is a half blooded Khaenriahn himself so Kaeya being his son would make him even further away from the Khaenriahn bloodline.

Not serious theory: could explain why they defiled the venti statue. Caribert likely knew what happened with his mother and was angry that her archon that preached freedom punished her and her son (Caribert) for choosing to leave Mondstat and start a family in Khaenria

I doubt Khaenri'ah wanted world domination. I'd guess "controlling everything" was Khaenri'ah's attempt to remove themselves from Fate ordained by Celestia. Trying to delete their constellations, in a sense, so that the gods wouldn't have that control over them. The Abyss is the only power we know of on par with Celestia. If they wanted to break the gods' hold on their Fate, they'd need to use the Abyss; nothing within Teyvat would be strong enough. Similar to what Dain says in Travail.

why is it that Clothar goes mad, yet the Jester and Dainslief also pure blooded Khaenri’ahns do not go mad?

I do not like Dainslief. He is spying on Kaeya . He has been watching Kaeya since Mondstadt. He knows who Kaeya is and looks down on him as if he doesn’t want anything to do with him,accept that he has been ordered to this duty . Even though he doesn’t want to he must watch Kaeya and make sure Lumine is doing whatever it is she is supposed to do. Maybe it is me, but every time he is with her Dainslief leaves to check on something whenever Lumine either falls asleep, passes out or goes into some sort of trance. Also why are there no pure blooded Khanriahan women? Writer mIstake?

You forgot to mention that Eide/Chlothar's VA is awesome.. He greatly deliver the emotional voices..

Oh my god. I just started to play genshin a few days ago, and looking at some of these lores made me really think that I shouldn't miss any cutscenes/voice lines in the game, help- what do i do now

I find the famous hugging moment to be okay. Turns out the Traveller just misses Paimon because of the horrible memory that they experienced.

Eide's EN voice acting is fantastic. Reminds me of Half Life's G Man. They all sell that unhinged and mysterious voice.

Didn't they say early on that Celestia was scared of the feats that the Khaenri'ah'ns were acheiving? Its likely they made a weapon that could come close defending them from divine wrath, or accidentally caused some kind of disaster that lead to them being punished

i have a lot of questions right now, is the two siblings died and use or borrow their body cause aether and lumine have the same memory??

I believe it's more logical that caribert died from jumping after he saw himself. The scarf was his mom's, but after she died and became soil fertilizer, he used the scarf to tell caribert apart, which means the two skeletons were caribert and his mom. The loom of fate if probably the mushrooms? Or the process of growing them.

I wonder if kaeyas mom was sumeruian?

Eleazar and withering zones were caused by the forbidden knowledge. It doesn't have relation with Kaen'riah isn't it?

Perhaps the Original sin mentioned by Egeria in the new Fontaine teaser could have connection to the Sinner from this quest? Maybe?

My guess is Kayea is related to Anfortas the Knight Marshall of Khaenriah. In the event, Kaeya’s father writes that Kaeya should never forget that the Albrechts were the ones to step in when Irmin the one eyed king became indisposed. And the one who stepped in was Anfortas. Meaning it’s quite likely Kaeya is a descendant of Anfortas and not of Clothar.

It was a disturbing dream were I was falling through layers of sand to finally reach a door
I didn't think much of it but now in 3.7...

There is a way of knowing if the sibling belongs to teyvat or not, if the traveler asks them about rukkhadevata and if they know about rukkhadevatta then they do not belong to this world and the fatui is wrong

My understanding of Kaeya from reading his 'story' was that the ambiguous duty he was left with was to simply lead a free life in Teyvat. It's significant bc he's the only person from Khaenri'ah unaffected by the curse for one reason or another so his dad left him in mond to just continue the khaenrian bloodline and lead a happy normal life, something no one else from Khaenri'ah can do in Teyvat. His appearance at the beginning of the quest just solidifies this for me, bc he appears only to clarify his alginment to mondstandt, business in sumeru, lack of knowledge about his past and proceeds to not appear again. Perhaps he'll learn more about his roots in the future?

Real question:


We know that Khaenriahn people who are not pure blood turned into hilichurls.
Pure bloods have certain eye color.
C. Alberich is dead and he cut ties(?) with his family.
C. Alberich was the founder of Abyss Order.


So if Kaeya is an Alberich descendant and not pure blood his eye colors(!) then how is he not a hilichurl? I believe his real eye color might not be what we think.

Could he be Caribert? We don't know what happened to him and also that C. Alberich most likely found a way to break the curse, since he is dead. Also this:

"Kaeya Prince of Khaenri'ah Kaeya's surname, Alberich, is a 'ruler of supernatural beings' in Old Norse and German mythology."

Caribert (Charibert, actually) means "glorious warrior" though. They are not similar, but Kaeya's meaning holds light to being the ruler of Abyss Order. He might not be as trustful as we think, remember what Dainsleif said: can a person be truly unaffected by their ancestry? It's as if they make him say this so that we still keep questioning if he has any intentions or not.

The VA for Eide was just a bit much. His trying-to-sound-unhinged voice started getting annoying within 5 mins.

idk but i still believe that somewhere in the hoyo timeline otto apocalypse is the one who made the siblings, he also infuse durandall dna to them for superhuman power then sent them out to explore the universe 😂 maybe khaenriah did some modification to the other siblings 500yrs ago so they can control the abyss,while doin so makes the irminsul can acknowledge one of the twins, while the one that player chose to play with is the one that still have the original dna from otto wich explained why we can scan every element in the game by touching the statue and utilize them just like how otto can copy all 12 god weapon with his power in honkai✌️

The Sinner might be King Deshtet, there was a similar purple crystal that showed out after he sacrificed himself. He also was after "forbidden knowledge" so he would be a Sinner.

Fun fact! The fact everything was a dream and that it was actually our sibling's memory was foreshadowed right at the beginning!
When you "wake up" after the "dream" of your sibling, you get the achievement of "Star-Crossed Night"
With a description that reads, "Recall memories related to your kin"


...They foreshadowed the truth so hard with that-
