I am not a big Pearl Jam fun but I am big rock and grunge fun and player (I play drums since 1992) but with my girlfriend on 2012 we chose this song for our wedding ceremony.. now we are not together, I still love the song but it's more sad for me now 😢 now I am sending it to her... time will tell if we are together again... Sempre fui fã do Pearl Jam, e essa música escutei sem escolher num momento muito difícil pra mim, onde meu pai estava hospitalizado em estado grave. Passei a escuta-la quase como uma espécie de prece e diálogo para que ele voltasse pra nós. Perdi meu pai em 2021 para as consequências do COVID e essa canção dizia e diz tudo que eu não conseguia, pois eu tinha que ser forte para minha família. Sempre me emociono quando escuto, ainda sigo a me despedir dele. Que saudades pai🍃

Hi guys. I really feel for those who have been touched by death or suicide and this song reminds them. I have tried to kill myself a few times. I have an eight year old daughter. I hope I don’t try again. I remember coming across a post that said ‘it’s ok if all you do today is just breathe.’ Pearl Jam is like coming home for me. I wouldn’t have stayed alive and sane without music.
