it seems my screen got some scratch from being squeezed in my luggage while travelling and now it is 80/90% gone. Amazing thank uuuu
I just scratched my brand new work monitor. Googled and first that came up was this. And it worked like a charm 👌🏼
Ответитьobviously it's bullshit
ОтветитьThanks!
Ответитьthank you, even this far later it helped me, not all the way gone, but now not as noticible like you say
Ответитьthank you <3
Ответитьand here I am watching this 9 year old video cus im too stupid and vacuum my monitor and scratch it xD
ОтветитьI got a scratch on my screen while being stupid and I scratched my monitor with A USB CABLE. I might try this soon
ОтветитьThank you so much! I had this really annoying scratch on my monitor (caused by a not so pleasant person I've cut out of my life). I was lamenting having to buy a new monitor eventually because I couldn't stand seeing the scratch and being reminded of them. Now it's basically invisible, can only see a speck of it on a white screen, and that's ok, my issue was this scratch ruining my shows+games :) This saved me 200$
ОтветитьHey, I just want to say that this WORKS! It saved my life today- I put a scratch on my 75-inch 3D TV which is irreplaceable because the electronics companies are total dicks and don't make them anymore, while I was moving some equipment onto my shelf. I seriously wanted to die- the scratch wasn't too bad and only noticable on bright scenes but I just couldn't live with it. I looked around everywhere online for advice. The consensus was not to do anything for fear of just making it worse, but I read that Vaseline doesn't cause any damage. I first intentionally put some scratches on a computer monitor to see if it would do any good, and the scratches were quickly reduced. I decided to try it on the TV, and the scratch is now un-noticeable as I am typing this on that screen with the bright white background. I wouldn't bullshit anyone about this so take my word for it. And fuck all the electronics companies for dropping 3D capability and making this the last TV I will ever buy! If I move in the future it will have to be treated like a one-of-a-kind painting!
ОтветитьThis is pretty much T-Cut for the monitor
ОтветитьWhat if you dont have. A scratch, but a little nick/tiny tear in the coating?
ОтветитьThis works amazing thank you! You saved me from staring at the biggest scratch all day 🙂
ОтветитьThis still helped me even nine years later!! Thanks!
Ответитьtoothpaste with a microfiber cloth, a touch of water, and a few minutes of polishing works AMAZING!!!!
Ответитьlove frorm someone who had a scratch in 2023
Ответитьdamnn haha
ОтветитьHow often this fix needs to be repeated? I take it gets "worn out" with drying out and temperature changes?
ОтветитьGreat video and tip. Actually, what works best is a Chapstick. Just rub the Chapstick right into the scratch and then wipe of any excess with a tissue.
ОтветитьWhat if i stabbed it
ОтветитьHOLY JEEZ !!!! IT WORKS.
THANKS A LOT !!!!!
This worked. It means that it would be possible to make it permanent if we had the right tool. Maybe mixing the coconut with a tiny ammount of glue or something..
ОтветитьTHANKS
ОтветитьDidn't work for me.
Ответитьwow dude this worked for my monitor
ОтветитьMy little cousin made like 3 or 4 scratches on my brand new monitor.. I can't get it off anymore...
ОтветитьI was going crazy with like being distracted from my medical studies on my monitor. You saved my life right here
ОтветитьDumb accident just scratched my screen. Was really skeptical. Rubbed some greasy hemorrhoids cream (no joke) and it's like 50% better until i replace the monitor. Kinda works lol
ОтветитьWhat the fuck, I had tiny scratches from my key board
and holy shit I have to find a specific angle to see the scratches 100/10
funny stuff
ОтветитьHope do someone notice me here thanks because on my case, my pc screen have deep scratch but after many months' the part of scratches build up some black marks on it' please someone help me here thanks and hello guys COMMENT ASAP GUYS THANKS LOVELOTS.
ОтветитьI did use Vaseline as well and the scratches are gone, or at least not visible anymore 😊
ОтветитьYour such a king I went to sort out some cords on my monitor and accidentally scratched it and this video fixed it taught me how to such a king!!! 👑
ОтветитьThis sounded so troll and ridiculous that I had to try and when I turned on my monitor I could tell where the scratch was and had to turn it off to spot it LOL - My apologies for the judgement and thank you!
ОтветитьThank you so much, the scratches on my monitor are gone after I smeared it with vaseline.
ОтветитьYou sir are a legend!! This just worked amazing on my Sony 4K TV!
ОтветитьIn case anyone is finding this now. Try gently rubbing a pencil eraser on you screen and then wiping it off with rubbing alcohol first. It should help get rid of plastic residue left over in the scratch
Ответитьfix isnt the same as hide...
ОтветитьHOW DOES THAT WORK
ОтветитьOmfg i went to featherdust my computer and i saw my screen was abit dusty so i went to duster it off, turns out the core of the featherduster is a metal rod and i scratched my monitor. I hope this works.
ОтветитьThe only moisturizer i have is facial moisturizer will that work?
ОтветитьI cannot believe how well this worked, thank you so much
ОтветитьFound this video after picking up a 'bargain' 27" monitor, only to get it home and realise there's a large scratch right in the centre of the screen which rendered it practically unusable. Figured I'd got nothing to lose by trying this but expected it to be some typical internet rubbish which wouldn't work - how wrong I was! It's rendered the scratches almost invisible meaning it's now entirely useable. Thanks!
ОтветитьJust brought home a 46 inch 1080p LED TV from 2014. Beast of a TV and heavy, but had some scratches on the screen from the rock wall it was resting on. I watched your video and looked around but didn't have any Petroleum jelly. I DID however, have a chapstick. I cleaned the screen, leveled out the scratches gently with a razor blade (Because the sides were raised up), rubbed in the chapstick, cleaned off the excess, and all but the deepest gouges have vanished. Not only that, but my TV smells like Pink Lemonade lol.
Thank you DIY Perks. <3

ОтветитьIt worked dude 😀👍👍 Thank you
