What u western media and politicians say about russia and Syria don't forget u wanted that country to be destroyed and u was close to it but after russians entered it all backfired now the Syrians are winning and taken back most of lands they lost and now have peace in almost every part of Syria

Why Crimea belongs to Russia?
Because Crimea only belongs to Ukraine in 1954.
It is the gift when it used to be in one country.
Since the union breaks, the gift needs give back.
And Ukraine and all other ex-soviet states are existed because of right of self-determine by communism ideology.
Since it is Ukraine and all other states right to leave USSR as self-determine, of course the self-determine of Crimea also works.
For international law part, communism ideology doesn't agree on current international law, because land integrity is capitalism concept; communism supports self-determine.
And the communism manifesto says clearly: our purpose can only achieved by overthrow all current system (including this international law).
Communism is revolutionary concept, of course it is contradict with current law; just like 13 colonies independence against British law, French revolution against French Kingdom law.
If above can't convince you, the wining of war or defeating pro-Ukrainian military forces will be sufficient reason and logic, as it is always winners write rules.
