boredom tweaks is my favorite quality of life mod. there's no reason my guy should be getting bored when i'm building shit or exercising or cooking. especially when these activities would accumulate zero boredom by standing on the other side of a wall.

I hope if something happens to true music. That there is at the least a way to put music in the files of the "true music" mod. I own some actual CDs and want a way to place them in a music file in game. I'm pretty sure there is an easy way to help with that. I understand musicians deserve their cut and I understand that.

Im a new player but i find myself adding QOI and vanilla+ mods every day. There are so many that include features I feel should be in the base game.

I recommend that anybody hosting their own zomboid server to make sure to install the Mod Manager: Server mod. It allows you to select your entire library of mods or copy a single player save's mods onto a server and is absolutely essential for anyone playing with more than 20-30 mods from the workshop

Just so you know Ret, I am VERY disappointed that Manage Containers didn't make it on this list. Honestly it's a borderline a crime when you consider all the time wasted by your community sorting their looting hauls at their base without this mod.

Shame. Install it, and Better Sorting (which you mentioned) immediately.

simple status costs about 15-20% fps as its very badly programmed... it should be avoided if you want a little more fps

Superb Survivors, or PZNS NPC Framework. Having another person with you to watch and have help you really adds something to subsequent play throughs.

And, if it's your cup of tea, having raiders and hostile/nonhostile NPCs showing up from time to time can make the game extra interesting.

Really disappointed common sense wasn't mentioned but it seems everyone likes keeping to the old adage of common sense isn't actually that common.

There's a mod called Defecation. Turn that on in multi without telling your friends. It's a mess of fun!
