I would have stood up, looked at thew parents and told them loudly, "Tell your kids to shut the fuck up". That should have embarrassed them . When they bitched maybe someone from the ship would have come to help.
ОтветитьRude rude people without any manners at all and they should have been removed by the staff!
ОтветитьVirgin Voyages and its child-free policy says hi.
ОтветитьHad I behaved that way as an adolescent (which was admittedly roughly a half a century ago) my late father would have broken in a new leather belt on my tail feathers! But in our more enlightened present both parents and children are entitled to behave rudely without repercussions. Admonishment would likely have just amused them. Fortunately my parenting style was similar to my father's, so my children were raised to be respectful of the rights of others. No doubt in my mind that these parents enable rather than discipline those kids. And when those kids become adults they'll raise their children the same way. I'll step back down off of this particular soap box now...
ОтветитьThe more it goes, the more poeple think of themselves way too higher . * MY MYSELF AND I *
ОтветитьTony, you and Jelly Belly are much better people than I am, lol. If I was in your seats, it would probably be two less teenagers in this world lol. I am also from New York and have never lost my Italian attitude.😂
ОтветитьYou lost me at Carnival Cruise….. 🚢💩😒
ОтветитьWhy do you go in the first place?
ОтветитьWhy didn’t the crew throw them out of the show. Sham on them
ОтветитьYou're better than me, #1 I definitely would've had words with the dad(being New Yorker) 2 I would've alerted staff and if that didn't work, 3break glass in case of emergency....I would've turned around and screamed in her face like a psychopath 😂😂😂😂betcha that would've worked 😂😂😂
ОтветитьI agree, the staff should of stepped in asked them to leave. I would of stood up. And said shut the f up. Lol I'm blunt
ОтветитьCruise staff should have intervened. Not only is it irritating to audience, can you imagine these poor performers. Ughhhh
ОтветитьEvery song is a Ludicrous song if you're brave enough
ОтветитьMaby not banned from ever cruising that would be harsh but banned from attending live performances ??? definitely...but here is the catch...self entitled people who would ruined the experience of others would argue with security enough to get themselves actually BANNED for life....Problem solved
ОтветитьHow about we strongly suggest that there be ushers in the theater who will approach those talking and shrieking? If it doesn't stop, they will be asked to leave.
If you participate in unacceptable behavior (I see you, Lauren Boebert!), you are going to be removed from the theater!! If it can be done to an...ahem...congresswoman, it can be done to teenagers and their parents.
Tony, you’re better than me. I would have lost my 🤬💩over that and said something to the dad.
ОтветитьI would have stood up, turned around, took a picture, and asked them to please control their teen or I would report them. Facial recognition goes a long way on a cruise ship.
Ответить@jennifer_mertens You bring up a good point. I know the video is edited funny but even that little shriek is different from others. Reminds me of a young woman who has a disability called Cri du Chat. She could only communicate with a shriek. At the same time he said she had been talking to her brother, so maybe she was just plain obnoxious.
ОтветитьI don't like confrontation either, I would have turned around and said, Please, I can't here the performance. If that didn't work, I would have gotten up and said something to one of the crew members.
ОтветитьI would have to say something and I have before . Don’t go to a show if your going to talk the whole way through . My pet peeve if you have to say something please just whisper .
ОтветитьYou need to grow some balls. Just turn around and ask the teenage girl to be quiet. Or were you afraid of a 10 year old girl?
ОтветитьLLL, I'm sure people behind you were pissed off when your phones bright screen was shining in their eyes while filming...... Hello pot, this is kettle.
ОтветитьYea' I would of turned around and asked are your kids special, because that the only reason I'd see accepting their behavior.
Ответить1st world issues the video
ОтветитьTotally agree
ОтветитьI can't stand most people anyway, I can't imagine paying to be locked onto a ship with thousands of them.
No thanks.
You are so right!
ОтветитьSame. If late, sit in the back. Don't save tons of seats. Don't talk through a show, especially shrieking. I can't even imagine putting up with that. I would have had to turn around and say something. Parents need to always control their kids.
ОтветитьYou did better than I would have.
Ответитьsimply find a phone and report that manner to the guest services, what happens next is GS will make a report to the security team member and they will react properly
ОтветитьBanning seems extreme. So permanent.
Keelhauling, however. If you do it fast enough, there's a possibility they make it.
Well, the cruise port pictured in the intro is my hometown St. Thomas! I'd have done a couple different things cause I'm the same way especially with cell phones (I use mine a lot but not next to me or in front of me seeing a movie or show, lol.) I'd have talked to the parents politely or gotten up and got a staff member involved to ask if they keep disrupting like that to have them removed. It's not your fault the parents don't seem to care. Hopefully you didn't see this family the rest of the ceuise?
ОтветитьWhy would you not report them???
ОтветитьWhy didn’t the staff remove them from the show? That is on the staff.
ОтветитьWow the parents should
Have take care of it
I need a handi cap
Seat and people will take them and not even need it! I have to go warily and save a few seats so I can sit with my family
Unfortunately I suspect I wouldn’t have been as controlled as you. I’m afraid I would have gotten very confrontational and they absolutely would have shut the F@#* up.
ОтветитьLooking forward to my upcoming Virgin Voyages cruise even more now 🙂
ОтветитьWould you like some cheese with that whine?
ОтветитьKinda non productive not to address it in the moment, turn around ask nicely then tell them to stop, then get a worker. So now your away from them it’s time to address it? People will get away with what you let them. Just whisper “we are in internal waters, you think Cuba is gonna investigate a missing American? That’s a joke . I would be just as pissed as you. imo ,you ask nicely and jokingly and if it doesn’t work go to phase 2.
ОтветитьI agree it's not ok, but do wonder if the person had something wrong like tourettes too
ОтветитьGet in that kids face and yell knock it off or get the staff to remove them
ОтветитьYou have the best attitude ever!
ОтветитьSadly - many parents allow dreadfully disrespectful behaviour to others from their children! No point trying to infiltrate such poor manners - for they don’t car! Moving on………🫣🫣🫣
P.S.: Let us all remember = life isn’t perfect. (You can’t ban families for this!)
I can't STAND it when people do stuff like that. I'd have made note of the row, and seat numbers that family were in, and snuck out of the auditorium to have words with ship's security, and had that family ejected from the auditorium, and then suggested they be banned. Whenever I'm late to a performance, I will WAIT till a piece is completed, and enter between pieces, and only take a seat in the closest rear, vacant seat, so as not to disturb the audience. I WILL also turn off the phone, and watch, prior to entering an auditorium. I just CAN'T be THAT person who answers their phone and carries on an entire conversation in a theatre, or auditorium. I just won't do that to the audience. I take flashlights to my performances, and just like a certain pianist, I WILL spotlight the miserable sod who interrupts my shows to answer a phone, and talks during my gigs. I remember just sneezing at a performance, when I was a kid, and the pianist stopped, stood up, opened up the piano bench, grabbed a big flashlight, and pointed RIGHT At ME. LOL He wasn't really mad, as he was a comedian, and the audience and I got a laugh out of it. But, yeah. I've picked up that trick, too. LOL
ОтветитьWe just got back from our very first cruise (Royal Caribbean). On the final night, the kids on the pool deck were up and screaming, stomping and banging chairs as often and as loudly as they could. This went on for approx. 90 minutes before I got out of bed, got dressed, walked upstairs, found the loud group of kids and kindly (yet firmly) informed them that they were keeping people below them awake, that they were being incredibly and unnecessarily loud and asked them to please stop. I then immediately walked up to the one Royal Caribbean staff member that was there to watch the kids and informed them that this wasn't fair to the rest of the guests whom were sleeping/resting and to please help to manage the kids behavior (they were a group of 13-16 year olds).
Firm, but fair (while being polite).
All noise stopped.
It's ok to confront people when they aren't behaving appropriately. It's how you do it. If that kid were screaming behind me, I would have taken the same approach.
Absolutely NOT overreacting! That's annoying!!
ОтветитьSay something lmao instead you make a video hahaha
