Stuart Hamm IS TOO FUCKING UNDERRATED. His solo albums and work with Joe Satriani are incredible demonstrations of his musical prowess, but no one talks enough about this dude and prefer to jerk off about how Flea is the G.O.A.T. of bass when that dude is overrated to the 25th power.
Ответитьwhen the solo changes your expression you know its fire
ОтветитьWhy.......there's no electricity in that stone ages? damed!!!
ОтветитьHe is a amazing guitarist
ОтветитьI something very similar many years ago when Joe satriani toured with stu and Greg bissinet
Ответитьthe story goes he auditioned for cirque du soleil, sight-read their whole show and then they said "ok, show us something of your own..." and he did this, to which they apparently said "yeah, thanks, we'll let you know..."
ha haaaaa, you'd wait your whole life for the chance to say something like that to stu hamm. priceless.
Fek
ОтветитьWho is this guy
ОтветитьI actually saw this video in 2017 when I started playing bass and all I could play was the chromatic scale, I don't know why but I thought that playing classical music on bass or guitar was the coolest thing ever so the Moonlight Sonata intro was awesome to me, now 7 years later I can actually play that part of the solo, it's been a fun journey so far 😏
ОтветитьMoonlight sonata!
ОтветитьUp there with any great performance ever.
ОтветитьThe solo absolutely just turns into the King of the Hill intro meets the South Park intro song at one point, but it's still beautiful.
ОтветитьFingers of steel..... behind every bass player there's an happy wife.
ОтветитьHe vs Stanley Clarke .
ОтветитьSad to hear the people start to cheer only when he starts noodling just because it's fast. People can't understand that the previous part was the hardest to play
ОтветитьWhat I am about to do has not been approved by The Vatican
ОтветитьThe greatest bass solo ever, in your opinion. It should read, "My favorite bass solo ever". There, it's fixed.
ОтветитьBeen talking with friends. The very start sounds like Moonlight Sonata.... am i wrong? Or are my friends just high lol
Ответитьstu hamm is a beast.
Ответитьbeethoven watching this : ☠️
ОтветитьI saw Stuart Hamm do this in a club during a Joe Satriani gig in the 80s ( Surfing with the Alien )
ОтветитьWhat his name ?
ОтветитьПелтисы
ОтветитьРоккольцореп......маг
Ответить어캐 했노?
ОтветитьI just realized he left Lucy and Linus out.
ОтветитьI watched Stu do this live, I was flabbergasted.
ОтветитьDecent but i find davie504 way better
ОтветитьEither his guitar is out of tune or that’s what a bass guitar with frets gets you….out of tune. We can learn a few things from Les Claypool here.
ОтветитьMoonlight sonata?
ОтветитьIn my Simpsons RP, this is played by Nelson
ОтветитьSome people say playing the bass is for the weak
Checkmate
I saw them in HOB Orlando and Stu did a bass solo with Eruption sections. Dude did moves I never knew were possible on a bass guitar.
ОтветитьWhen you use the whole bass but they want Freebird
Ответить@charlesberthoud
ОтветитьPrimus before Primus.
ОтветитьHe does not have permision from davie504 to play bass
ОтветитьStu hamm rules!
ОтветитьOnce that hokey pokey shit started playing it went downhill lol everything before was heavenly
ОтветитьMore noodling.
ОтветитьNever thought I would hear Moonlight Sonata on bass.
Ответитьsee scott plummer sweep picking without a pick on his 10 string bass
Ответитьif the undertaker choose a different path this would have been him lol
ОтветитьHe's good, but he's no Ryan Martinie
ОтветитьBilbo Bassgins
Ответитьlisten to this sht every day lmfao fuckin insane
ОтветитьTrue talent and playfulness are great together...
ОтветитьYou've never heard of Charles Berthoud? Sad. He's the world's greatest bass player.
