ОтветитьI had a high sprain ankle playing basketball 2 years ago. Dou my ankle healed, I am experiencing stiffness and mobility issues with small temporary pain on my ankle. I had a foot doc look at it and he told me that my ankle is 100% healed he recommended physical therapy but I really feel I can work on fixing the issue without spending hundreds of dollars. Any advice for my situation?

ОтветитьAt first, was thinking “why do I need bulletproof ankles!?”. Knees are more important.
However like your body, every muscle works in conjunction with other muscles… you need to strengthen just a little of everything, not just ONE THING.

ОтветитьHey so I’ve had the urge to click my right ankle for the longs now.. + 10 years! I’m sure it’s due to pulling/twisting my ankle back in college! I’ve never professionally got it checked out and kinda shook it off at the time! At this point it’s such a consistent need to click… I’m sure there’s an issue! My leafy ankle btw is the actual opposite.. barely ever if the need to click! Does anyone recognise my problem and suggest treatments or..?

ОтветитьI'm doing these exercises for few weeks now, also yoga and working out for a year or so, and today I was in the bus and driver hit the breakes and I thought "This is it, I'm going dooown..."
I wasn't holding, I was just on my way to the exit, I was holding two bags! And funny thing then happened. Instead of loosing my balance, like I did in the past (I'm 44), I did some kind of a dance move, two steps back and one step forward, something like that, and it was so fast, don't know where it came from but it saved me and my first thought was "Oh, I know who to "blame", Strength Side! 💪🏼" 😄😊❤
Yes I'm embarrassed to say my two weakest areas are my ankles and my gluteus maximus which I have not given any attention to which is the most important part of basically walking 😁
