Good video, question- I've been interested before in having build a website, but as a client the first intention is to look for other websites that are on the market of your like and you can show to the webdesigner as samples, is these aproach ok to ask clients if they have sample websites they have probably look, and design something similar or at least to have the idea..? and to start with the wireframes...
ОтветитьGreat video! Thank you sir!
ОтветитьGreat course here, thank you for doing it! I wanted to ask, what if we are such a beginners that we decide to go and start from a template? what would be your recommendations then to personalize/brand it in the best possible way?
ОтветитьOK I understand
ОтветитьThanks for your time teaching us but how can I download all tools sir
ОтветитьI have to disagree, wireframes are practically a waste of time(high fidelity, anyway):
1. You can literally make a "pretty prototype" from a low fidelity wireframe in half the time it would take to mess around with figma or photoshop, and it also means you don't have to take the additional time to learn these technologies and waste your memory on what you have learnt on an unnecessary step. (very steep learning curve by the way)
2. A pretty prototype means that you can start working on a final iteration from CSS, HTML, JS / PHP, CSS / CSS, HTML , framework / etc, etc without having to reconstruct it from images that have already taken you 3-7+ hours of work minimum, especially if you do a large array of pages and some variations.
3. Using a pretty prototype will allow you to hone skills in the technologies that actually matter, and it's also more pleasant for a client to view an interactive medium that will function in real time to show what their end user will see, and it will allow them to understand a little bit more readily what they feel should be changed/modified, and quite frankly, it would be easier to do so and less time consuming, as previously stated.
Feel free to disagree with my thoughts, but I'm happy to stand by them. I genuinely think that with a low fidelity wireframe, a brand guideline, a content strategy, a sitemap, a pretty prototype, and good communication between yourself and your client, you will have no issues unless the client is just being difficult. But i guess thats why we get them to sign off and pay a percentage at each stage.
Platforma looks good for low fidelity wireframes though(gotta start somewhere, and most importantly, gotta get your clients to agree with and sign off on the initial layout; and the initial percentage payment before continuing doesnt hurt), I'll definitely be looking into it.
Can't ask for more... Thanks Alotttt!!!
