I've had this issue with my system since the 2080 and now 3080.
Figured it was a Windows issue, since the GPUs are powerhouses when gaming.
My signal keeps flashing when it doesn't like different apps or windows in front - with the mouse cursor over the app.

Nothing has worked for me yet I’ve watch every video about this problem and tried everything .

THANK YOU!!! I think this solved my years long battle with this!. I have tried so many things like changing graphics cards twice. Ive removed other users and many other things all of which worked for a little while.

Hey I’m having some super similar issues. My pc will randomly black screen and say it has no input signal but the sound to the game im playing will still be there. It went away for a bit but has came back worse. Does this issue sound like the same one you were having

Im brand new to pc and the second day of having it my monitor would shut off every 10 to 15 minutes but my pc would stay on. I put the decimal to 60 and havent had any issues for over an hour. Ill come back if i have a problem and lyk.

32 bit part is that significant to the equipment used. Is it possible I should be saying 64bit

i don't want to speak too soon but i think it worked! my monitors kept turning off and on multiple times every minute, it was very annoying

Same problem here, it's not working though. but as soon I change the monitor the problem disappear. but also, when i'm using the monitor to play switch the problem doesn't appear. so i suspect there's a connection problem between the PC and Monitor

Having the same issue but this method didn't work long for me. When the problem first started I only could see the intro screen but I made it all the way to the firing range on apex when trying all kinda methods and then yours. My screen still ended up blacking out on me even after this. Atp I'm giving up for a while.

is this the same problem where, i was playing mid game and both my monitors looses signal and my gpu fan speed is sudden increased? and i force shutdown it to play it again and the same problem keep happeniing ?

Just tried this out and restarted my PC. I will let you all know if it works or not through a reply to my own comment.
For info, the problem happened at random: I could pay for the whole day without the screen going black, or it could happen like 5 or 6 times in a day. Lately it's been worse. It can happen during games or not.

Just tried the fix, testing my desktop after 30 min and will update in a day or 2 to see if it works.

Edit: If you play games on RIOT CLIENT and you have VANGUARD ANTICHEAT installed, it might cause this monitor problem. I KNOW it sounds odd but I've tested it twice so far, Vanguard anticheat will cause my monitor to black screen.

This fixed my monitor disconnecting problem, but now it just starts to freeze instead of turn off

One reason that your monitor says no signal, could mean that your GPU isn’t plugged in all the way into the slot, even if the lights on it might not be in all the way, so keep fidgeting and keep pushing it in and it might fix your problem, cause it for me

I had issues with this not only it turned black randomly it also overheated my rx660 gpu. I switced the hdmi to display port and the problem was gone 😂. the gpu no longer throttles. I guess hdmi is not the best cable for a 4k monitor. I had to choose a cable that does mention 4k 60hz

I just did this, if I don't get a single crash in the following days I am legitimately coming back and subbing. This issue has been driving me insane

I typed 60 like you, I have a NVIDIA GeForcew RTX 2090, I played BO2 Campaign for maybe 20 minutes and it happened again... you think i should do 10 instead of 60? didnt work for me, my pc does exactly what’s described but sometimes i also get no signal at startup, i think its a psu problem but damn i dont want to buy another one
