Can you just not talk so much and let us see the waves?
ОтветитьThe real terrors in this world are nature and things of demonic origin.

Ответитьi would love to witness the majesty of the ocean at such a frequency that waves are 100+ feet high and you can see them as far as the eye can see 🤯🤯
Ответить🍻
ОтветитьEl poder del mar en su máximo esplendor 😮😮😮
ОтветитьThe first clip is from Balder FPSO in the north sea if i'm not mistaking. I'm going there for work tomorrow :D
ОтветитьSo again that’s false rogue waves aren’t extremely rare. Opposite. They happen all the time it’s just so vast, but more importantly humans are far MORE sparse in the ocean. Making them rare to use.
In 10 random satellite NASA images some ocean hugger group found 100s of rogue waves, 50+ft in relatively calm conditions (hard to see they clouds) & a good handful of 100ft waves once thought to be impossible
So, an old rigs at the end of its life, and suddenly it get 20 more years coz they found more oil? Hmm that's pretty sus.
Ответитьthis could defo be 4m long. boring at 1.5 speed even
ОтветитьFirst example (7) is not a platform. It's a supply ship with a helideck. Of course the waves look big then. I call bs on this channel.
ОтветитьBack in my day we had to swim to the oil rig..... and we were happy to do it.
Ответитьwait thoes rigs are floating????
ОтветитьHow can you not feel like you're going to die on one of these things?
ОтветитьHaha bullshit, 2 drowned
Ответитьand there you are standing doing your work for the billionaires on this world, literally risking your life for nothing but being able to pay for food and mortgage/rent
Ответить50' is not really a rogue wave. 50' is big however, they regularly hit Portugal and 50' are supposed to be fairly common during big storms both in the north Atlantic and in the roaring 40's
ОтветитьHow can a drill not bend and break off easily from one of these rigs? Without a fixed stable position i cant imsgine how they can get any work done.
Ответитьв декабре 1991 у берегов Великобритании от такой волны потерпел крушение керченский рыболовецкий траулер КАРТЛИ.ЭТо было последнее кораблекрушение в Советском Союзе.
ОтветитьI wouldn't work out there for a million a year. That crap scares the hell out of me seeing it.
ОтветитьL Rats who ruined this world 🌎
ОтветитьWaves.....
ОтветитьOur government in iran are not from iran,.thay came to destroy our beautiful country
ОтветитьOpec
Ответитьjust the audacity to design, build and place these things in such crazy places. It would be crazy if it wasn't for money. Imagine if we designed and built so humans could live free. we would have machines doing farming so people don't have to, we'd have free food and free land because money isn't the object, humans would build structures and machines 100x larger than these oil rigs because they wouldn't be restricted by budgets and politics. we would have moon colonies and Mars colonies by now
ОтветитьThat's not quite what a "one hundred year storm" means, though you aren't entirely wrong. It's splitting hairs, but the hydro-geologist in me really needs to split that one. Structures, be they dams, dykes, diversions, or steel/brick/mortar will be defined by 100, 200, 500, or 1000 storm events based on the largest recorded storms recorded in that location at that time interval. For instance, where I currently work the dams and dykes are being re-engineered from 1 in 50 to 1 in 500 year structures as we work towards closure and less constant monitoring.
ОтветитьI cant imagine how sea sick I would be.
Ответитьjust imagine an extreme weather + in the dark of night + in the middle of ocean + oil rig sinking
Just imagine how nightmare it would be
None of these can be classed as monster waves. You did ask me to go in the comments and say what I thought so here I am. These are baby waves that most 6yr olds could just wade thru. Wouldn't even knock over a sandcastle
oh yeah and next time pls upload in at least 2k. These aren't medieval times
I was on a deployment in the U.S. Navy in 1999 on the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier. We were headed to Perth, Austria and we’re trying to avoid a typhoon without taking us too far off of our course. We ended up experiencing heavy rolling, pitching and listing. At certain times, we were pitching, listing and rolling up to 45-55 or more degrees. We definitely had many pucker moments. I really felt sorry for the small boys in the CAG.
Edit: after that, we went to Vienna, Australia.
I'd probably do that kind of work near land, like really close to land. Just in case something bad happens. But to be hundreds of miles out at sea, absolutely NOT!!
ОтветитьMuch respect to all of the brave oil rig workers all over the world 🌎 Thank You for all that you do!!!!!
ОтветитьFirst clip (#7) : You've never seen a rogue wave until you've experienced one in the Bering Sea during crab season.
ОтветитьAwesome.
ОтветитьAs someone who works on a rig I used to get sea sick so bad but after a little while you get used to it
Ответитьwatching how these waves move, and i’m still wondering why we continue to dare into the ocean.
ОтветитьMy life, the people who work on these rigs are brave! I would be found crouched inside a cupboard crying with fear as I’m not confident in water and am terrified of heights! 😢
ОтветитьWe call it killer wave - some time it comes from nowhere suddenly. Once we were at mess room during launch time, eating chatting and suddenly we found our windows are underwater for few seconds, when we went out everything on open deck was gone, like gigantic knife cut all off, life boats winches railings ladders pipes lights everything.
ОтветитьOnly 150 miles off shore?? Dude that's a long ass way off shore ..
ОтветитьKobe Bryant's wife got millions awarded, this family has the same darn rigths!!!
ОтветитьI sure they paid the workers well😮
ОтветитьNice weather to go fishing.
ОтветитьI miss when i was there
ОтветитьHow the fuck has anyone crossed the Atlantic or Pacific in a wooden boat
ОтветитьWater is so powerful
Ответитьthe North Sea water is quite clear in deep blue. Compare that with Lake superior which is charcoal black.
Ответитьi extremely shocked to know that there are hundreds of oil rigs in Gulf of Mexico # i believe billions of barrel oil is priduced from all these rigs # 🇵🇰 ❤
