I got the it love is the foundation brush. It is so good, I never had any streaks with that just as you said.
ОтветитьHOARDERRR
ОтветитьIm thinking of buying the Sephora Esscential Eye Brush Set on Thursday. I don’t own any eye brushes or eyeshadows. I did just buy a Shiseido brush from Nordstrom on sale for blush. You are glowing Sofia. You are so pretty
Ответитьthank you so so much for putting together this detailed video on brushes. I just placed an order through BK clicking your affiliate link as well as an order on all the Sonia G brushes. I am so upset I can't get the Japan brushes as they are sold out but I am going to keep looking. I love your content, just recently found you but look forward to using these brushes.
ОтветитьHi Sofia! I loved your in-depth review on your brushes. I decided to treat myself to the Chikuhodo FO 4 cheek brush based on your recommendation. I can’t wait to try my first fox haired brush. 🤩
ОтветитьAlso what would be your most recommended application tools & brushes for someone like me? I have combo/oily skin with occasional dry flaky patches (thanks retinol) and I also have large pores/deep forehead wrinkles/loose sagging skin on (especially on my forehead and smile line area due to a somewhat recent 180lbs rapid weight loss at the ripe old age of 34… I look like I’m 48😓)?
ОтветитьI know that Rephr is getting ready to have a new brush launch coming up soon (one in collaboration with Patty Alonso) so I would loooooove to see a video going over all of their face/eye brushes listing their intended uses & what you actually prefer to use them for and comparing each of their brushes to BK Beauty Brushes & your other luxury brushes!
Ответитьdid you say squirrel hair? 😢 dissed you for that!
ОтветитьIs that brush really $10 grand
ОтветитьI would never use a brush from animal hair the thought that they actually kill the animal so you can feel luxurious when using it makes me sick
ОтветитьSo glad to see content with only premium brushes. Thats the way to go. A brush can last for decades so why not pay 40 bucks for it. The quality is so much better than the "affordable" brushes. I too love "IT" brushes as well.
ОтветитьI remember Mel Saying Sonia G!!! Buffer Pro
ОтветитьLove this video and the way you organized it by category. Any recommendations on what to use to clean the natural brushes...both cleanser and if you do so manually or through a cleansing tool? Thanks!!
ОтветитьI have watched this three times now and need to watch again to write a list. The best video
ОтветитьWould love to know your opinion on Lancôme brushes
ОтветитьThis was phenomenal and so helpful
ОтветитьSo upbeat and positive. How refreshing! What a bright light you are! Thank you.
ОтветитьThis was very informative! Thank you. I'd like to see, using the same makeup, synthetic vs non synthetic (2 sides of face) and similar brushes vs each other.
Ответитьbuffer pro has made with more dense , with that, they can be bruff for the whole face better. smooth buffer is like what you said.
ОтветитьThis is such a helpful review! Thank you very much!
ОтветитьThank you for doing this and breaking the uses down for these brushes. I took notes 😂😂😂
ОтветитьLove all the mentions - the Kakishibizome is one of my most prized brush sets as well! I would recommend Hakuhodo brushes, and especially the mixed goat/squirrel blend. They are exceptional and the shape variations are fantastic. I am also a fan of the Hakuhodo goat eye brushes - true workhorses like WG & Rephr. Kim x
ОтветитьI am so excited to see if Wayne goss and Sonia g. do holiday brushes this year!
ОтветитьI have just Morphe brushes, mostly because they do natural hair brushes at a more affordable price compared to brands like Refr etc. I have used a few real Techniques brushes before as well, I quite like their blush brush. ELF is another brand I like for brushes, particularly the putty brush for cream blushes
ОтветитьI loved watching Mel. Her vision for color combinations was remarkable.
ОтветитьHello Sofia! I just bought Sonia G Buffer pro and Detail pro at your recommendation. 😍 I plan to buy the sky set for eyes but now it’s out of stock. I hope that you will review and compare the eye sets from Sonia G. I have hooded eyes (my eyelids are still visible, but not like yours) and I think the sky set is better for me. I have 5-6 eye brushes from Hourglass and I want to buy eye brushes with natural hair to see the difference.
I want to recommend you Sculpting brush from Surratt. It is multitasking and very, I mean VERY good. :) It is very soft and is good for blush, contouring, highlighter and even powder for specific application. And funny fact it is cheaper in Australia in store than on Beautylish site - AUD136 vs USD125.
Thank you for reviews! 🤗 Many kisses to Minnie 😻 I love when she comes next to you 😁
Super helpful, thanks! Also, thank you for sharing options for smaller hooded eyes and for listing the brush companies that are having sales and for how much.👏👏
ОтветитьHaha. You said "depth" and I heard "debt". Indeed!
ОтветитьGreat in depth and informative reviews, you have quite the extensive brush collection. We have all the same Sonia G brushes with the exceptions of the crease 1, I have the crease pro, I have the OG buffer pro so I don't have the smooth buffer, however, after seeing your demo it does intrigue me, I do use the OG buffer with the Guerlain meteorites, although the first time I used it I lost several pebbles as they went flying, and I haven't yet purchased the fusion eye brushes as I'm waiting for them to be sold individually. Haven't gotten into BK brushes yet and I have a few rephr brushes. I am interested in the Koyudo brushes so that may be my new brush purchase next year. Thx. J. 🤗
ОтветитьThis is the brush video I’ve always wanted! The demos were so so helpful! 👏
Appreciate the work you put into this one x
sooooooo productive omg
ОтветитьI wonder what is going on with wayne goss brushes, he used to have black haired brushes and they were phenomenal, now the only one is the airbrush brush and that has been 'returning soon" on beautylish for over a year. Is it coming back? no idea. I assumed he was making the move to synesthetic brushes or switching to cosmetics.
ОтветитьWhat an informative video! Massive congrats on 10K!!
ОтветитьSofiaaaaa…come on girl! You are making me spend my coin and I have 95% of these brushes. Just really love your vibe. Feel like friends chatting doing makeup. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
You are such a happy space. Need more like you!
I also use the 109 for cream bronzer. I want another one for cream blush
ОтветитьFangirling every video you put out! Brushes are such a weak spot but I haven’t gotten into the super premium ranges and now I’m tempted 😅😅😅 I’m so glad you did your makeup with the brushes instead of just talking us through the brushes with a full face on!
ОтветитьYou have quickly become one of my favorite people to watch! Your videos are so helpful and you have such a positive energy...thank you. Excited to see your channel continue to grow! You've earned it!
ОтветитьThe way we have the SAME favorite brushes. 🥰 We were destined to be internet friends.
ОтветитьThanks so much for the detailed breakdown! Congrats on 10K! 🎉
Can you tell me what shade of the PMG foundation and CT concealer you are wearing? I’m having so much trouble matching myself online.
Did do I really need more brushes? NO. Was I psyched to see a Sofia style exquisitely detailed video on brushes? YES. Is my Beautylish wish list longer now that I’ve seen this video…ABSOLUTELY YES!!! 😂😂😂
I have 2 more brushes I’d add to your list. For applying shimmers for me it’s the Smith Arrowhead brushes 253 & 256. They literally changed the game
for me with Pat McGrath shimmers.
One more I love, love is the Esum W36. I don’t use it everyday but for a look when I just want a little bit of outer lid area contour…it’s perfect. I put on a bit of dark shadow with a fat pencil brush then use this brush to fluff the color up. I’m not sure if it’s the hair or the shape but the blend is perfection.
I also smiled when you applied VR Fire Opal. I cannot open the Bronze Seduction palette without finding somewhere on my look that needs Fire Opal!
I really love my Sigma and the BK Brushes. My favorite Sigma set is the Taylor Wynn set. I use that set every day! Thank you for sharing your favorites ❤
ОтветитьI had the best luck with IT Foundation Brush, what about BK Beauty 101?
ОтветитьI like how you broke down this video with a live application using each brush! I’m definitely saving this video as reference for future additions to my brush collection. Thanks Sofia!
ОтветитьI have no idea why I'm obsessed with makeup brushes when I mostly wear simple eye looks and apply most face makeup with my fingers 😆 But I'm interested in why people love certain brushes, and how they use them.
ОтветитьFirst off, congrats on 10K!!!! So exciting!!! This brush video is so helpful, thank you! I had a couple questions after watching. Do you think the Sonia G Jumbo Blender would work for one-and-done on smaller, hooded eyes? Also, do you think the Sonia G Classic Crease is a worthwhile addition if I have and love her Blender Pro?
ОтветитьSonia G’s are my favorite, the Beautylish GC events are a good time to grab them… if you have the discipline to wait 😅 I don’t.
ОтветитьThe Sigma 4DHD is my favorite brush. All 4 sides come up to one point in the center of the brush. I use it for my crease. I've never seen a brush shape quite like it.
ОтветитьIs ur top the Lululemon merino wool? It’s my fave
Ответить
