I feel so bad for Panina's kids not having fresh food

I don’t like that Panina said she didn’t care how Kellie’s kids felt because they weren’t her kids. That’s really insensitive

On another note these families are extremes of the scale, a middle ground is nice

Both familes can learn alot from each other. But i feel bad for the strict household. Bc AUS subsides children's education 100% they can live a fun life comapared to other countries where free education is limited and highly competitive

Seems like they could both learn from each other.. Both husbands seem to appreciate a bit of change. The mom's don't need to be so ridged.

I just dont inderstand why people like Panina produce children. Children are so unbelievable amount of expenses. And she could save her money much better without having them at all. And she wont need to buy even cheapest, nastiest and unhealthiest food like sandwiches, mayo and salami fro them at all. Also, she doesnt even work. She is house wife. How she can afford to be housewife if she loses opportunity to earn her beloved money that she could save. And be mortgage free at her 70th. Amazing purpose for life. By the way how she affords manicure? It cost at least half of her family month money for food.

I always took my daughter out of school once a month. She never knew when or time. I called it a mental health day. I cherished every minute of her childhood. Now I have 3 grandchildren. I only label things in my art room.

I wouldn't stop my kids from school to have fun, we can have fun when school close. We can learn from both families, thanks.

I think Panina is making her own children 'suck it up' for their own childhood in order to make a point for her vlog

But let your children have some fun and joy when you're able to
Their whole childhood shouldn't be about paying off your morgage IMHO

Kellies kids were far too disrespectful, and lacked any responsibility, yet at the same time, i felt terrible for panina's kids, as they never had a fresh meal, just so that their parents can pay off a morgage? I think those kids will grow up and rebel, and feel quite sad when they think back to what they missed. I wish this experiment had a few extra steps to help them both truly take tips off eachother

I feel like kids should be kids and be able to have their own bubble of space at time to time and play but also have a routine and learn responsibility but like not too much chores.

I think it would be quite simple to budget the groceries but still make fresh food, like, you have the budgeted bread, meat and cheese, just fucking make a fresh sandwich in the morning with your already budgeted groceries.

Kellie does need to budget more, it’s important to have fun and its important to have structure, her kids do absolutely nothing to help, and Latoya, understanding that teenage years are the most rebellious she still has absolutely 0 ounce of respect. The least the kids could do is clean up their own rooms.

Both need to learn balance, not extreme sides of the other

For example, Pinnina, TAKE YOUR KIDS TO A REGULAR PLAYGROUND THEY DONT COST A PENNY! Or just spend some time outside of chores to have fun!

Kellie, babes, you can’t be pulling kids out of school to watch a movie, watch movies on Friday nights or weekends, and have fun with your kids but they need to have some sort of chores and they need their education!

I think both families need help the blonds family needs to be more respectful and productive in the house just cus they’re kids doesn’t mean they have to be in a throne and do nothing and the other family is good that they teach their kids discipline but they should also be able to be kids and have fun

Broke ppl are always trying to tell ppl with money how to spend money. If you knew how to deal with money and money management you wouldn’t be poor or worried about paying your mortgage.

Why is it always the extremes

My issue with Penina's frugality: I understand shopping in advance, but I also worked in a supermarket, often serving farm families who live 1hr+ from the shops. I can understand buying in bulk like that if you live rural, but Frankston is not rural, she could shop once a fortnight if she wanted to be frugal and still have the same effect.

Cooking once a month??? Sandwiches made for the week…🤮

My family are millionaires grandparents and parents

We own boat and car and motorcycle dealerships

But we have always had a perfect balance

We didn’t spend 2.5 million on a house we live in an upper middle class neighborhood where I always had kids around me in a 500k house and instead
Of a huge yacht we just got a fishing boat

We had the money to be spoiled but we learned what it was like to have balance we never spent too much or too little if we wanted something we could have it no matter the price but not without working damn hard for it

These people need to balance and I wish my parents were there to teach them kids can have fun and be responsible no matter the budget

“they’re not happy but they’re not MY children so i don’t care” is a wild statement. and it 100% proves that she should not have kids. she lacks empathy for them. she only cares about her a little bit because they’re hers, but it doesn’t seem she truly cares for them cause if she did, she’d care enough to see she’s putting money before her kids and she’s valuing money and sufficiency over her kids happiness and quality of life.

omg that “strict mom” has like severe OCD or something. the way she needs to be in control of everything, every little aspect of her life needs to have a very strict routine and she needs to be seen as “perfect” is sad. i hope she eventually got help. the other mom was amazing imo, the family clearly had and was making enough money to support their kids and have that big house and go out and do all those fun things, so choosing to spend that money on things that really matter like making memories, gaining new experiences, feeling joy, having family time, etc. is the best way to live life. you truly could die tmrw and the bills, the money, won’t matter, you can’t take it with you. hopefully we can take our memories to a better place but even if you can’t, at least you had fun while you were here. money is absolutely pointless if not spent. it comes and goes.

edit: how “fun mom” wants to raise her kids is up to her of course, how she wants to let them talk is up to her too, i personally agree with most of her parenting except how her kids talk to others. you can live your life fun and loose and still be respectful and respectable. if my kids are gonna swear, they’re gonna do it appropriately. if they’re gonna speak their mind, they’re gonna do it respectfully. if they’re gonna refuse to do something, it’s gonna be reasonable and they’ll do it politely. i do believe respect is earned, no matter how old you are or any age differences between people, but i feel like you should always start out being respectful until someone gives you a reason to not respect them.

Honestly, neither of the mothers are really great people lmao. Kellie is selfish and has an attitude, and the other one is a bitch.
