Found solution for the STEP3 -> "waiting for device". When you check your device manager you will see "Android Device" with a Yellow triangle. This means you have to make sure you manually install the LG V20 mobile driver. Google search "android adb driver lgv20 install", should be first link, and follow the steps to manually update the driver. Once you update, it will recognize the phone and run Step 3.

Thanks for the video. I had a number of hurdles, which I managed to overcome. But once I ran LGUpDlg, I get an error "DLL for H91020h is invalid". Is my software update too recent or something? Any ideas on where to go from here are appreciated. It's an LG-H910 phone. Android 8.0.0

I have a problem, I can't execute STEP3.BAT. My phone is stuck on FASTBOOT MODE but nothing happens when I ran STEP3.BAT

It just remains there. Nothing happens

don't exactly consider myself pro(I just had pretty good luck with most the stuff I've dealt with so far:P) but going directly to twrp 3.3.1-0 got me stuck at secure boot-up, flustered me a bit than I tried out the other one and it works as intended; mostly commenting incase anyone else ends up doing similar

Dealing with this phone and its 8 different versions is driving me f***ing crazy!

I followed your instructions and also the ones in the site. Everything works fine until STEP3.BAT which fails since for some reason, the phone is not connecting properly on fastboot mode with message <waiting for any device>.

I tried everything but not being able to configure the drivers properly.

Any hints you can give me?

What recovery version will be appropriate for the H910PR? I installed 3.3.1-0 but "secure start-up" appears after installing any software. Wipe makes a return to TWRP recovery every time :/

Dear bro.. ur tutorial was made it easy. It just. When it come to the 'tricky' step, where it comes to typing code (CMD+terminal), my laptop always cannot detect the dirtysanta file, even though I had redownload the file, but it always fail to be loaded from storage/emulated/0 I try search for it but none of them provide the file. Do you the file? Can I have it, so I can move to the next process. Thanks

Hi I know it's an old video but I just wanted to ask that my phone is already at version 10r so should I just follow along after that step? If someone with that version has done this successfully then please guide me. I want to install lineage OS 16 and need to root for that and if there's any other way where I can root for this version please do tell.
