ОтветитьMounjaro did it for me. Type 2 free or remission. Gracias a Dios
ОтветитьSo as long as my a1c is out of diabetic levels, that means I’m not diabetic anymore? Did a test and it came back as 6.5 and I started freaking out thinking I’m dying. So if I get it to under that consistently, will I be fine and no longer diabetic ?
ОтветитьCure or put into remission?
ОтветитьCan you direct me to one of your videos where you explain why Dr s prescribed insulin for T2 diabetes? I picked up my insulin but am hesitant to take it, have started carnivore the last 3 days
ОтветитьSo what is a good A1C
So if you are allergic to shell fish can't eat nothing
Really?i was latose intolerant .i stopped drinking milk and I have reversed my lactose intolerance.but is it really reversed? I am gonna find out i am gonna chug a glass of milk lets see
ОтветитьYou are a most amazing doctor and individual - thank you very much Dr Berry
ОтветитьHi Dr Berry, I currently have T2D, diagnosed in 2016, and managed completely by diet. I actually got down to 6.2 A1c about a year ago, but I’ve been struggling, particularly in Summer heat. I do recall that you once said that if you’ve been eating keto or ketovore or carnivore, including Intermittent Fasting, and you’ve not been able to reverse your T2D…your body may be working on something bigger. So, I’ve remained calm in the face of this situation and am in the midst of the big tests for cancer. So, I guess my body really was working on something big. I found that piece of information very helpful in keeping myself from beating myself up. So, I thought I’d say “thank you so much” and maybe encourage you to remind people of this point as well. I’m a bit nervous about possibly having to go on Metformin if I have to undergo chemo and radiation, so I can manage my blood glucose more easily just during cancer treatments, then get back off it afterwards. I hope that makes some sense???? Yours in Gratitude
ОтветитьSo if after your A1C is normal and if you go back to eating pizza etc and your A1c goes back up then that’s not really curing diabetes that’s just keeping it under control ?
ОтветитьMy wife is the 0 carb type also. Me below 20. We've just started carnivore last week and both feel great. Go Vols!!
ОтветитьA1c test doesn’t exist anymore in your link.
ОтветитьI'm sorry, but eating dead animal flesh is a whole other cause and effect in the human body.
ОтветитьThank you Dr Berry this is a great information
ОтветитьHi Dr Ken, I've been on carnivore now for 8 months, my blood sugar has come down to almost normal level. My ldl cholesterol is 4.2 triglycerides 1.3 and my hdl is 1.6 ,my doctor is keen to reduce my ldl, I do have heart issues and I have reduced my statins to almost the point I've stopped them. I was getting pain in my legs and feet cramps mainly which have also stopped, would you consider my ldl as high
ОтветитьI am 66 yo and was told by my primary physician that since my ENTIRE family suffers from T2, it is almost impossible to avoid diabetes. I was ignorant at that time about diet but I was stubborn. Decided to start reading, researching, talking to ppl. Yes, it was hard but I managed to obtain a normal A1C. However, there is no denial that when it is genetic, it is harder. I know some of you don’t believe that but my hubby is a good example. He was pre diabetic. He continues to eat all the bad crap but reduce the portion and very quickly, his A1C went to normal even though he continues to eat the same crappy stuff just smaller amount. So don’t be discourage if you are like me, slow process and have to work harder but still possible to get to normal A1C.
ОтветитьI’m type 2 diabetic & insulin resistant diabetic and using an insulin pump. Been diabetic for over 40 years. This can be reversed at this point? Over 20 people in my family are diabetic.
ОтветитьA1c is not what you use to diagnose diabetes. It´s the Oral Glucose Tolerance Test. Many things and conditions can cause your A1c to be too high, for instance: Hb A1c values increase in iron deficiency anemia, splenectomy, alcohol and lead poisoning.
Glycosylated hemoglobin decreases in cases of:
* hemolytic anemia
* Chronic hemorrhage
* Pregnancy
* Chronic renal failure
The presence of Hb F, S + H produces false positive results.
The presence of Hb S, C, E, D, G and Lepore's Hb causes false negative results.
What if your A1C is 5.2 and your fasting insulin is 18?
ОтветитьYes you can. Iv done it
ОтветитьI am type 2 diabetic. I cut all sugar and carbs May 1 and am eating carnivore woe. My insulin dose has gone from 70 units a night to 16 units and my blood pressure pill was cut in half. I'm excited to be off all meds soon. My A1C was 5.6 on my last bloodwork results. I'm amazed. Also, I've lost 33.5 lbs.
ОтветитьADA has been pushing 45-60 grams per carbs per meal plus two snacks a day. My doc goes along with this. My A1C was not coming down, even with exercise. I just started doing what Dr. Berry talks about in this video and I have already seen a downward trend on my daily testing.
ОтветитьQQQ Boy I'm confused. I have been on a carnivore diet for approximately 2 years. My latest lab have me at .09 c-peptide an A1c of 7 with fasting glucose of 117. I eat only 1 meal a day so fasting 24 hours. What am I doing wrong? I have an appointment today with an endocrinologist.
ОтветитьDR. BERRY!!! I reversed my diabetes in 3 months on carnivore!!! Just diagnosed at 6.5 in June. Now it's Oct. and A1C is 5.6! gluc at 95, rather than 119! Thank you!
ОтветитьThe day I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. My vision went blurry, I had a migraine and was vomiting. I discovered that I had ketoacidous. I missed all the warning signs by ignorance of the diesel. My Hbac1 at the time of diagnosis was 121, through channels like yours I changed my diet and lost 3 stone in weight and my last quarterly Hbac1 test I'm now down 36 in six months.i am on metformin but my GP won't take me off the metformin he got annoyed with me when I said that the Hbac1 of a non diabetic was 20 and 42 he said forget the pre-diabetes you are a diabetic and that's it. You have just managed your blood sugar really well, but you are a diabetic for life. I was thinking no, I am not. Hey ho.
ОтветитьGreat tutorial Dr. Berry. Thank you for helping us understand how we can help ourselves over come the Diabetes diagnosis. All the best.
ОтветитьUse the new non prescription CGM to teach you what to eat and what to avoid. Stelo. I love it and is rapidly changing my life at 81.
ОтветитьThat is an excellent explanation of how to lower my A1C. Thank you for the clear information.
ОтветитьBeen on a Keto diet & in my 4th week as of now I've lost 12lb & my A1c is estimated to be 5.3 according to my C.G.M. 😊
ОтветитьMy doctor told me I'm diabetic i had an a1c of 11,8 and give me metformin i never take the tablet i just change me diets and it when down to 6,0 in 3 months an i told her I never take the tablets an after 2 months it's 5,7 an still i didn't take any medication
ОтветитьA1C 11 changed diet to no carbs losses 75lbs A1C is currently 5.3 I'm a 56 yrs survivor of alcoholism, drugs ECT... Now no meds liver scanned no damage. 🎉😂 Yes it's curea le just listen to this Tennessee sawbones. He's got his shit together as we say down in upper Louisiana 😂😂
❤️🔥🙏🇺🇸
I've been on the carnivore diet for 2 weeks now and I'm completely off insulin my inflammation has almost disappeared and I have psoriatic arthritis I thought this was going to be another winter of excruciating pain and it's not now I can actually enjoy the holidays for the first time in 10 years
ОтветитьIam doing this but my a1c and glucose that are still high my insulin level is 19.5 should I take insulin to reduce my sugar or not
ОтветитьAll thanks to Dr Ozuka for helping me get rid of herpes simplex virus with his herbal medicine. His herbs are magic
ОтветитьSo it's total carbs and not net carbs?
ОтветитьWhy does everyone have to get on a keto diet, that costs and arm a leg, and still clogs up your arteries with butter. Just eat less, or incorporate more fruits and veggies and whole grains. Cheap and efficient will cure the diabetes as well. And perhaps add a bit of exercice, has benefits that diet alone wont get you
ОтветитьTHIS IS THE BEST VIDEO... Excellent video Doc.. The best explanation on the tube
ОтветитьWhat is going on with me?? I started keto and low low carbs and higher protein and in 4 months my A1C went up!! It went from 5.6 to 6.0!!!!!
ОтветитьCongratulations on the excellent content! It’s amazing how practical information about nutrition can transform lives. I truly appreciate the effort you put into this video and the clarity with which you explained the foods that affect insulin levels.
Let me share a brief experience: a few years ago, I was diagnosed with insulin resistance. I remember how challenging it was at first to understand the impact of food on my body. After learning which foods to avoid and incorporating healthier choices, as you mentioned, I managed to improve my glucose levels and even lose weight consistently. Today, I feel much healthier and grateful for content like yours that makes this journey clearer for so many people. Keep up the amazing work!
I'm in remission. 1 year off my medication and have improved my A1C by 2 tenths. From 8.6 to 5.7 in the first year. From 5.7 to 5.5 in the past year without medication and diet and exercise only. Many say I'm cured. I stick to remission.
ОтветитьI am from India and am following what Dr Ken Berry said and found improvement in HbA1C .Thank you sir 🙏
ОтветитьHere's my issue, diagnosed 4 months ago. T2 due to COVID. Problem is, I'm struggling to keep weight on. How do I have energy without carbs? My blood sugar crashed with so little carbs
ОтветитьPrediabetes = Slow poison
ОтветитьCan you do Carnivore to cure Type 2, but without gallbladder?
ОтветитьMy fasting bgl morning checks have been consistently declining for the last 4 days. Zero carbs, zero starches, zero sugars.
ОтветитьWhere is the link to the test kits?
ОтветитьYes u can I did
ОтветитьI dont eat red meat it's bad on heart
ОтветитьAfter following your amazing content and videos, my 10.6 a1c (and highly suggested METFORMIN from my Naturopath no less!) I lowered it to 6.2 in FIVE months after following your guidelines, and am close to carnivore now (ketovore currently). We need all of our doctors to be on YOUR page and learning from YOU because you are the real deal, and I believe you just may have saved my life.
ОтветитьMy 12 yo has a fasting glucose around 130-140. She is thin and eats low carb. I am carnviore. Should I have her tested for diabetes and have her eat carnivore with me? What is different about diabetes with kids?
Ответить
