I can't believe how many people here justify Irma's cheating. Bean DOES care for her, he's just not into the mushy stuff which she as his girlfriend should respect. Besides, she could have made compromises with him if she wanted him to be more romantic, the guy is no mind reader. Furthermore, she should have been less demanding and more independent (like e.g. everyone pays for their own meal). Making compromises while having enough trust in your SO to talk about what bothers you is how a relationship should work. If anything, this makes HER look like a spoiled brat.
